  • The ridiculous feud continues
Jill and Sawyer are brought into the feud right off the bat! Dinner invitations for both to eat with the dueling families. And, they both decide that they want nothing to do with either idiotic family. As they find that they work well together, they develop a firm friendship. But, sparks do fly. Can they progress into a relationship when the idiotic families keep interfering? You will laugh at some of the idiotic things that happen and wonder how adults can act so foolishly. But, it is a fun, entertaining read. Good story and series. ... show more

  • If I lived in Texas, My life as A Cow Girl would have been so UNBORING!!
While the characters are complex by nature, they are also well developed individuals with a sense of not only who they are; but what others may think of them and what they feel about themselves. The story line remains full of twisty scenarios throughout it also keeps you concentrating on what is happening and does not let you stray off into distant directions. I was a thought invoking story, light in nature; but not whimsical or dull. Great reading when you are allowing yourself the full pleasure to read for fun and just for the heck of it. We all need stories like this one in our lives at times. ... show more

  • Trouble with Texas Cowbows
Great story. Good characters and not like Finn and Called story. Assimilated the two families just enough. Romance was great but not photographic. A fun story. Like to hear about Rhett and can not wait to continue reading. Like the style of writing and appreciate an easy read.T

  • Such a fun read
I hadn't heard of Carolyn Brown, and bought one of her books just for something different. I now believe I have read almost every book she has written. Her character are so much fun, anyone could read these and find something in them to identify with, laugh at or with. She usually has several characters that share the "staring role". Many are part of a series, but each can totally stand alone. Although, you will want to read any other book connected to the one you are reading. ... show more

  • The books are pretty light hearted
She writes a bit different than most of the books I read, leans toward a lot of sexual scenes. The books are pretty light hearted. The plots are pretty predictable.

Good book. Carolyn Brown usually writes a funny sexy love story. This one was right on the money. A little strong on the heavy Texas dialogue but it did not detract too much from the story. I'm from Texas so to me it was a little too much.
