I was expecting a pretty good edition of the actual Kama Sutra text, which it is. I was also expecting the artwork to be both more relevant to the appropriate parts of the book, not merely random, poor examples of Indian erotic art. Given India's rich artistic history and brilliant executions of erotic painting and stonework, this left me unfulfilled and confused as to its textual relevance. The book is boring and dry. It essentially condones rape through forcing, conning and tricking as well as adultry. But informative of how that culture lives their lives in the home marriage and bedroom. It does not give advice on how to have someone fall in love with you or building romance in your current relationship. Lacks a variety of sex positions for use. ... show more
