For the first few days, there was no action at all and I was very disappointed, but all of a sudden those fly strips are like Fly Central, and the strip is covered with those annoying flies, which are some kind of smaller fly we do not usually see. I found myself with a house fly infestation from leaving the windows cracked while I was away for 2 days. came back to house flies and found where they had laid eggs on the trash can. I had hundreds of tiny baby flies everywhere! It was gross to say the least. Sprays worked but I have pets and was concerned about them. I searched for fly paper online and found this product. I hung 3 of them in doorways to the kitchen, laundry room and front bathroom as well as taking one apart and sticking it to a piece of cardboard so I could swipe at any fly flying by me. They worked really well! The first day I had maybe 20 on each trap and that number grew the next day. I also but out 4 small dishes of apple cider vinegar and a drop of dishwashing soap and those caught tons! I'm disgusted to say I had this problem but this product helped me get on top of it and get rid of the pesky things. I recommend them. ... show more

This was a little difficult to set up because the tape doesn't stay extended very well on its own. That said, we just taped both the top and bottom near the flies, and that's good enough. It doesn't need to be pretty. We had well over 100 flies before setting it up, and 8 hours later, 90% of them were caught. I'm guessing most of the rest will be gone by the end of today. I love this things! If you have a back door in your kitchen like I do, insects tend to find their way into your home much easier than your front door. These fly traps work with ease. You have to be slow when pulling it out and making sure it’s stretched out good. No weird odors or smells, no messiness either. Very good quality stuff here as insects stick to these big time. I usually only change it twice during the summer period unless I have company coming over than I trash em. If you don’t have that issue than I’d say depending on where you live, from May to September you’ll only need to change it twice. Great value that packs a punch! ... show more
