  • Saved the day
Size: 1 Pack
We have been plagued with a pestilence of flies. In December, mind you. This is unprecedented. So we ordered these fly paper traps, hoping to solve the problem. For the first few days, there was no action at all and I was very disappointed, but all of a sudden those fly strips are like Fly Central, and the strip is covered with those annoying flies, which are some kind of smaller fly we do not usually see. We are very pleased with such an inexpensive and easy solution to what was a very annoying problem. Would certainly use again and can easily recommend to others with similar unfortunate problems. ... show more

  • Worked well for me
Size: 1 Pack
I found myself with a house fly infestation from leaving the windows cracked while I was away for 2 days. came back to house flies and found where they had laid eggs on the trash can. I had hundreds of tiny baby flies everywhere! It was gross to say the least. Sprays worked but I have pets and was concerned about them. I searched for fly paper online and found this product. I hung 3 of them in doorways to the kitchen, laundry room and front bathroom as well as taking one apart and sticking it to a piece of cardboard so I could swipe at any fly flying by me. They worked really well! The first day I had maybe 20 on each trap and that number grew the next day. I also but out 4 small dishes of apple cider vinegar and a drop of dishwashing soap and those caught tons! I'm disgusted to say I had this problem but this product helped me get on top of it and get rid of the pesky things. I recommend them. ... show more

  • Flies were able to unstick themselves
Size: 1 Pack
Not sure if it was user error, but I feel like I would catch flies and when I would look at it an hour later, the flies were gone. However, it did grab some and they were easy to hang up.

  • worked and caught many tiny bugs
Size: 1 Pack
I had a problem of many tiny flying insects in my bathroom which came from my shower drain. These are not regular flies but much smaller. I tried many things to kill them within my shower drain but nothing seemed to do the trick. I bought a 6 pack of these and tacked 2 to my bathroom ceiling. Well they certainly worked because there are now many little, tiny gnat type flies stuck to them. They are very sticky so don't get them stuck to you or the wall. They worked very well for me! ... show more

  • Difficult to use
Size: 1 Pack
Past experience with these was pulling the top off, extending the tape, and hanging from ceiling. These have the cap so tightly adhered to the holder and the tape adheres to itself so strongly trying to extend the tape results in tearing the entire container. Messy and not very functional

  • I think it works
Size: 1 Pack
Long story short, this solved our gnat problem but I have no idea how. I don't know if anything got stuck to the tape but the bugs are gone. Since it worked, I won't question it. So we had these annoying gnats/fruit fly like bugs that were only in our bedroom for the most part. There was only like 1 or 2 per day but they were those ones that drives you nuts by flying right in your face and you can never kill them, so we bought these. They opened fairly easily without much force or the string or anything breaking randomly. I took the time to unravel it and tried pulling it tight and holding it like that for a bit, but as soon as I let go then it just wound right back up. I figured it would unravel on its own after hanging it up, so it wasn't a big deal. (The pic with more light shows how it was out of the box the first night) We put it into our ceiling above our computer where those things managed to evoke the most rage in us and went to bed. The very next morning we didn't see any flies. I didn't notice any stuck on the tape either though. Its now been 4 days since putting the fly paper up and we have not seen a single one of those gnats anywhere in my home. I *think* one may be stuck to the paper, but not completely sure, it could be dust too. I really don't understand it. We had these flies for 3 weeks and no severe change in weather or anything else, so I know it was these papers. They're the only change we made. Also side note, it ended up unraveling a little bit after we turned on our humidifier last night, but otherwise it still hasnt really straightened out yet.(You can see in the 2nd pic, the darker one where more of the window is in the shot) Its only been up for 4 days and I just measured it to be about 2 feet, even with it still curled a bit. I saw some other reviewers not like that it didnt unravel completely. I don't mind since it's not like we need the extra tape space and I'd probably manage to hit my head off it somehow if it was longer, which I'm definitely okay with never doing (again). Ultimately we bought this to get rid of our gnat problem, which it did. Even if it wasn't in the expected way. So I'm competely happy with the purchase. And it does seem sticky enough that if they land on it they would get stuck to it. Also getting 8 of them for the price is worth it as well. ... show more

  • Works well
Size: 1 Pack
I hung these in trouble areas. Initially they didn’t go near them but checking back a couple days… it has caught a lot. It’s very sticky, I appreciate the tack to hang it. Definitely would buy again.

  • Repellant more than a trap
Size: 1 Pack
Funny thing happened when I hung this up. The flies disappeared. It didn't catch a single fly, but repelled them. Thought it was coincidence, so took it down. Flies came back. Hung another on up, viola, flies were gone. Don't recommend hanging close to a wall. Wind blew the trap and it stuck to the wall. Left a gooey mess all over the wall. ... show more
