I've had this unit for just under a year, but I've probably used this for less than 4 hours, total. It already stopped working for me. The intensity resets to zero every second no matter what I try, rendering it useless. I reached out to customer support, but we'll see if they get back to me with a solution. *Update* I figured out the problem. The wires became disconnected from the pads. Once I plugged them back in, it continued to work, which is great because it really does provide some relief. I guess my only complaint would be that the wires can get disconnected somewhat easily, but other than that it works very nicely. ... show more

    • It really does help in pain relief.
I was having pain in my thumb joints in both hands. No idea what was causing it but being 76 years old I guess your body doesn't need a reason. When this started I would try deep tissue massage on my thumb joints. This helped but was a pain in the butt. On a whim I decided to try the Tenker EMS Tens Unit. It took a bit to navigate the controls because it has multiple channels and button controls to adjust the intervals and intensity of the electrical stimulation. There are multiple selections to adjust the way the pulse comes on some starting gradual and increasing intensity, other settings using strong pulses. The options are impressive. Without total mastery of the controls, I managed to get a good test on my first usage adjusting the signal strength to a level that was not too uncomfortable. I was amazed at the results. I noted at least a 80 percent reduction in pain in my thumb joint on the first usage. The relief seems to last for weeks but whenever the ache starts kicking up the Tenker Unit really does help give extended relief. I have never approached the maximum power setting but I am only using this across my thumb joint. larger body parts may require more power. I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend it to a friend that was experiencing any kind of joint or muscle pain. ... show more

Worked perfectly. Set to 1/2 was was more than intense. Purchased for a sore neck, after 24 hours felt 100% better.

    • Portable, holds charge awhile, pads loose their stickyness
The media could not be loaded. For the price this would have gotten 5 stars BUT I knocked it to 3 stars solely because the sticky pads lost their stickyness after 8ish uses. It does come with one set of replacement pads but I'll definitely need to order more to continue using it in the long run which seems a bit wasteful. What I do like about it is it's very small & powerful, has a ton of modes, can be used with 4 pads (2 ports), and if very effective (when the pads are sticking to your skin in the first few uses). I am still able to use it even though they don't stick, just have to position myself against a pillow or somewhere so they can't slide. Great for upper back/neck tension! ... show more

Great little Tens unit. Ended up getting another! It works very well and came with a few replacement pads. The instructions were easy to follow, and in no time, I had the pads on. It has a wide range of power and multiple different settings.
