  • HAHAHAH HAHAHAHAH
Size: 8 pcs
I saw them and they looked nice, but they discharge too soon, are not high capacity, and did not out perform a cheap alkalyne from a 99 cent store

  • great batteries
Size: 8 pcs
I used a set of 10 batteries to rebuild a battery pack for a HID flashlight after the original cells died. I ended up 3D printing a battery holder and bought battery terminals/springs to make these replaceable vs the solder tabs on battery packs. So far so good with these, they hold a charge for a long time. The output is great too for this high drain light. I will buy these again if I need C cells for any other device I have. ... show more

  • Better Range, Longevity and Reliability
Size: 4 pcs
[Capacity:] Tenergy seems to have world wide the highest rated capacities for rechargeable NI-MH batteries. Looks like Tenergy has almost maxed out of whats technically possible. No other maker has these capacity range, hats off !! Even the best Japanese makers have max roughly only 60% capacity (3000 mah), again respect for this !! It's awesome how much capacity this rechargeable batteries have. [Weight:] Lets face it, batteries are heavy. Capacity limits and weight are probably their worst obstacles. Fortunately the extended capacity plays as advantage as you might come by with one battery pack where you used two or more in the past. This comes in VERY handy when either every gram counts or stamina is everything. [Charging:] We all know that increased capacity not only gives you better mileage but also requires fewer (but long) charging cycles. Generally speaking high capacity is a good thing but long charging times might be a turn off when you are in hurry. In addition quick charging or charging to often (to early) might decrease life cycle of the battery (read: damage it). So it makes sense that you also invest in an "intelligent" charger, that checks the battery status, de-charges it controlled and recharges it gently. This way your investment is protected. [Usage:] So far I have used those batteries and haven't realized any significant drop of capacity. Its to early to tell the long term quality of the product, however so far everything is indicating a good quality product. I will update this section in regular intervals to indicate any capacity changes. ---[Summary and target user:]--- I am conservative. For the technology and capacity alone I would easily give 5 or even 6 Stars. I understand that 5.000mah is a capacity that is almost unheard off and more likely bike batteries have it. For the average user even 50$ + charger cost is a deep price to pay, so its not a deal for occasional uses. HOWEVER, for power sucking heavy usage this is a steal, especially if you MUST HAVE the extended stamina. 5 Stars for heavy users 4 Stars for average users ((Reason is initial cost) Enjoy the ride !! ... show more

  • Always had decent luck with Tenergy
Size: 12 pcs
I always had good luck with Tenergy batteries, and see no reason to think otherwise with these. These are the Tenergy 'premium' line, and I haven't had them long enough to know how many charges they will last, but they do seem to last a bit longer per charge than the Tenergy standard line. I am moving to putting rechargeable batteries everywhere it is practical, for two reasons. First, keeps acid and chemicals out of landfills, and second, I have yet to have a rechargeable battery leak and damage the device I put them in. Yes, if run down and ignored for a long time, they are stone cold dead, but at least they are not sitting in a blob of acid and corrosion. ... show more

  • The best
Size: 12 pcs
I like these batteries a lot. They seem to recharge very well and I would recommend them. Right now I'm saving up to get a bigger charging unit because I want to be able to charge more at once. I actually ordered the original kit from the actual website. But I have purchased these batteries from Amazon and I still have had the same experience. ... show more

  • so far so good
Size: 8 pcs
our baby toys, namely the bouncy seats, go through a ton of C and D cell batteries. So rechargables were a must. The problem is that most only offer C and D sizes in crazy low capacities. No more than a AA size, i.e. 3000mAh, tops, usally closer to 2500mAh. These are a bit better, not as good as they could be, but better at 5000mAh. The next issue is charging them. Most chargers can't put more than about 2200mA into a battery for some reason, so we had to find a charger that could handle the extra capcity. But now good chargers seem to be far more common place than they were 5 years ago when we first started down this road, so this time around we were able to find one here on Amazon easily enough that works like a champ. We have charged these about a dozen times in groups of 4 batteries per bouncy seat and have not noticed that there is a loss of capacity yet. I would hope that we won't see such a loss for a long time, but given the price of these batteries I fear we may see that capacity loss sooner than later. So far though no problems encountered and no reason to believe it will be any time soon. I have a lot of other tenergy batteries and so far they have not been a problem for me, either the rechargables or the standard ones. I would recommend these to anyone who does not want to waste money and landfill space on standard batteries. Just get a good charger that charges batteries until they say they are full and not just until it believes them to be full. I would buy more of these if/when the need arises, assuming that they do last as long as other rechargables do. ... show more

  • Random Capacity, Will Update Soon.. !
Size: 4 pcs
Summary: These batteries seem to produce most of the time, above the rated capacity they are rated for. (Battery 1: 4698, Battery 2: 5113, Battery 3: 5120, Battery 4: 5011 mAh) I bought this under two points: 1) For -right now- they seem to mirror Amazon's return policy. 2) Out of the Tenergy products under "C sized" batteries, this is the only one I found that comes with a full 1 year warranty... the others are 90 days only from what I could tell. I ran this on my Liitokala Lii-500 charger, which can charge 2x C-sized batteries. With up to 1 amp of charge, for my tests I used 500 mA, the charging was done in a large garage where the temperature is ~72F (22C). On "Fast" mode, I got very random results for these batteries. For that reason.. I switched to "NOR" (normal) mode, which seems to discharge the battery fully, then recharge, and do the test. This is very time intensive.. and for this reason. I get a result after about 1.5 days for each pair. I am also buying a much more modern charger, called the "Xtar DRAGON VP4 Plus", which I will re-test again to see how they compare with newer technology. For the time being I will be keeping these batteries. ... show more

  • Tenergy batteries are worth the money
Size: 4 pcs
These bad buys were used in my old Whites Eagle 2 metal detector. I now have nearly twice the run time and they just keep on going charge after charge! They are also much lighter than alkaline batteries of the same size which is easier on me as I swing that heavy detector.
