Not all Tenax deer fence is created equally. We installed some last year and I found it was hard to work with, being very flimsy. It was an economy line from the same manufacturer. I ordered the Premium version this year, ad it worked out very well. It's rigid enough that it can be leaned against the next pole while tensioning and attaching the fence to poles. The other stuff would bend and end up falling over if someone didn't hold it up. This stuff is also stiff enough that even if a little loose, animals can't really squeeze under it very well. I also feel the extra thickness of the fence will prevent it from ripping if a deer run into it. I'm much happier with this product than the lighter duty stuff. The hardest part about setting up this fence is getting it stretched tight. Since it's plastic, sometimes the top or bottom will have slightly more stretch than the other end, meaning you can get some waves in the fence. This can be minimized by using a fence stretcher (or building one out of a couple 2x4s bolted together), but otherwise this fencing does what it needs to do. I'd love to have a slightly taller option, since the deer around here can make some crazy jumps, but 7.5' keeps pretty much all but the most determined out of our garden. ... show more

This fencing looks great and was easy to install. We put 4 X 4's every fifteen feet, ran wire at 7ft around the entire perimeter, and hung the fencing from the wire using sip ties, then used barbed U-nails to attach the stretched fencing to the posts. Looks great, and is literally almost invisible and seems to be extremely durable. No deer will be munching on my lettuce! ... show more

I purchased a 2nd 330' roll and the last 80 ft was majorly deformed. The mesh was horribly misshapen and the direction of the fence went diagonal quite a bit, causing a floppy installation. The first 250 ft was flawless as was the entire 1st roll I purchased. I have contacted Tenax directly and will update this review when this issue is resolved. Update: I have not heard back from Tenax regarding this issue. I will keep trying. ... show more
