Bought this hose in 2017 and am still using it (2024). Hands down the longest lasting garden hose I’ve ever owned. It does tend to kink in a couple of places when pulling it out of the hose hanger but due to its longevity and overall build quality, not really huge deal.

Strong hose. Protected ends where hoses usually fail. Compact, gets back into a nice coil, if you give the hose a 1/4 turn each time you coil a loop. A VERY handsome color - your neighbors will be asking where you got it. Could be in the Hort Society!!

    • Good hose for good price
I've bought two of these hoses and so far, they have worked very well. I've had one about 6 months and the other about 1 month. They don't seem to kink. This is not a cheap, lightweight hose. Has good material, a little on the heavier side as it is a commercial grade hose. The only wildcard I can't speak to is long term durability. I live in Phoenix and the sun here very intense. They last for a long time and they honor their warranty. We have more than two hose Bibs. But we use two full time. Like I said, they last a long time. Keep the cardboard cover and tape the receipt to it. Then they will honor the warranty.

    • Doesn't kink but also doesn't handle the heat
I had left this product in the sun with full water back pressure with a turned off attachment. The sun baked it to the point where it bubbled up and sprung a leak. Had to replace it. Now I take all pressure off the hose if I have to leave it in the sun.

It doesn't kink! After trying various other allegedly "never kink" hoses, it's a pleasure to finally get a hose that works properly and DOES NOT KINK! This hose is relatively lightweight and pliable with a slick exterior - so it pulls over the lawn and rolls into the hose reel with relative ease - even the 75' ones that I'm using. And when I pull on the hose, potential kinks DO NOT FORM (whereas they always did on previous hoses, requiring time-wasting unkinking). I recommend this product HIGHLY. ... show more

    • Neverkink Always Kinks
Neverkink garden hose should be called, "AlwaysKinks". I bought this professional 4000 series hose in 5/8" x 75-foot hoping it would live up to its name. In the past, I've bought professional quality garden hose at the membership clubs and they've been fairly good over the years but only moderately kink resistant. When moving something like a lawn sprinkler or a pressure washer from one location to another, many garden hoses will kink and cut off the water flow, especially if pulling on it while coiled or lapped over itself. The NeverKink product is no better than any cheap hose. It kinks if there is the slightest twist or overlap in it as you're stetching it out. So I can not recommend this hose to people who are hoping to minimize kinking. I gave it 2 stars because it's a pretty high quality garden hose with excellent connectors at each end, but kinks up and cuts off the water flow just as much, maybe more so than any other garden hose I've owned. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer's customer service for this product and although they were professional and courteous over the phone, I got the impression I was talking to someone who could not or would not speak candidly about the product because of fear of possibly losing their job. If you read through the reviews here on Amazon, you find that the majority of users of this garden hose are saying it does indeed kink just as easy as any other garden hose. When I brought this to the attention of the customer service rep, they just kept saying that the product is designed and guaranteed not to kink, and that the red stripe and reinforced inner webbing is part of the design to prevent kinking. But there is no doubt that the hose kinks easily and the red stripe and webbing do very little to prevent it. The manufacturer's denial of this and unwillingness to recall the product or at least change their market and labeling of it demonstrates a shady operation. I seriously feel the company is falsely advertising the product even though they stand behind the product with a guarantee. I believe they are hoping that the majority of users will not call their bluff or demand a refund (I won't simply because of the hassle they make you go through cutting off both ends and sending photos; the hose is not broken, it just kinks). But because of the manufacturer's denial and continuation to insist that their garden hose will not kink, I have therefore downgraded my review to one star. ... show more
