    • This set is perfection!
We are a remote control vehicle family…. Cars, trucks, boats. Now we have the youngest member who will be turning 3 during this next year. I dont want her to be left out so I have been searching for a set that has easy controls and is durable. This is it! I tested both vehicles and both remotes to be sure everything works. I appreciate how this was packaged with each separate piece (including the little people) wrapped in a bag so nothing gets scratched. Even the included small screwdriver. The directions are right on top when you open it up. EACH vehicle uses 3 AA batteries, and EACH remote uses 2 AAA batteries. The compartments are easy to get into. The little people pop on to a short plastic post, but need an adult to pull them off so they are nice and snug and wont get lost. I feel like this is very sturdy plastic and that everything can withstand the heavy use of a preschool age child. There is an on/off switch on the underside and the headlights come on when you turn it on. On the remote hand piece there is a button that turns music on or off. With the music on you can definitely tell where your child is. I prefer to run this in silence. The controls let you run the vehicles forward but not backward in a straight move. Rather by using the 2nd button, you can turn it around in a circle or parts of a circle until you get it pointed in the backwards position. By pressing that button, you can make very small moves to get it to turn around. It just takes a few practice moves to figure it out and I feel like a 3 year old would have enough dexterity to figure it out. I absolutely love this set and would purchase it again.
