I have always bought Samsung but wanted to try and save some money and decided on this TCL 75 in. I am not disappointed, the tv is lightweight for it's size and set up was easy. The picture quality is very good and so is the sound, it has 2 speakers at the bottom and I don't need to use my sound bar for normal daily viewing. The remote also works well and is easy to use, there is a slight delay sometimes but that doesn't bother me. There are video and audio adjustments so you can fine tune it to your specific taste. I bought this on sale for just over $500 and I am very satisfied, I didn't want to spend over a thousand dollars for a big name brand, so if you want to save alot consider this brand tv. ... show more

The Color is fantastic and the picture is pretty great as far as backlight, brightness, and sharpness. It seemed smaller than my last TCL 55" but I measured it and it was the same size. I'm still trying to get used to the Home page layout of the Fire OS - I prefer Roku. 3 things that bothered me about this T.V.: 1.) I'm disappointed that the 3.5 mm headphone jack will not output to my multimedia speakers (with subwoofer), like my last TCL. I did all the proper settings and no sound at all. Luckily, the onboard TV speaker sound is better than most TV's if you tweak the settings a bit. It's good enough that I didn't feel compelled to buy a sound bar immediately (may get one eventually). 2.) Like other reviews mentioned, there is a lag sometimes. It's just enough to be annoying but nothing to pull your hair out over...so far. I will update if anything gets worse with time. 3) This is my worst pet peeve about this TV - I hate the remote! It's too long, overly sensitive (easy to trigger), and not very efficient with the button layout imo. But I have small hands so maybe that's why. Having Alexa makes up for some of my dislikes. All in all, this is an excellent TV for the price and a great deal. I like that it has a Media Player (app) so I can see stuff from a thumb drive right on my T.V. Lets see how long it lasts. The T.V. that I was replacing, a 55" TCL 5 series with Roku, the video went out 4 months after the 4 year extended warranty expired. I love the size, it was bigger than I imagined and very thin. It is awesome for a wall mount, even though I did not mount it. It is thin and light enough to do with ease. I can say the volume isn't the loudest, but I have Bluetooth, so no worries (I need volume...kids...lol). I may order surround sound for music and movie nights. Picture quality is good, and all streaming services work really well, live TV works perfectly fine on apps like Fubo and Peacock BUT DOESN’T WORK with Amazon’s live TV. For this being an Amazon Fire TV it is extremely frustrating that you can’t watch anything that is live streamed on Amazon like Thursday Night Football and the 2024 Election Coverage. It will constantly buffer and it is very very choppy the whole time you are watching. I know it has nothing to do with our excellent internet service (we pay for the fastest speeds they offer) because we have NEVER had any other issues with streaming live TV on any other streaming platform. If this problem could be fixed then I would definitely give the TV five stars. ... show more

Hard to believe a TV that cost less than $400 looks this good. I bought this for my home. Office as just a throwaway TV, and now I’m considering getting another one and replacing the smaller TV we have in our family room. I know it’s just a cheap TV but the picture is great and it does everything that I could ask for from a TV. I hooked up a Vizio sound bar to it and it sounds fantastic so one of the cons of this TV would be sound but I doubt that there are very many flatscreen TVs that have good sound so I would imagine you would need a sound bar for just about any flatscreen TV. I’ve had it for a few weeks and my only complaint is the responsiveness of the remote control. Very laggy. ... show more
