The picture quality is exceptionally clear. It took some time to set everything up, but it works wonderfully. I appreciate having a hard-wired ethernet port, and I might run an ethernet line in the future. I still can't believe how sharp the picture is; the photo doesn't capture its full quality. There is no lag between apps at all, unlike some others who mentioned experiencing lag. I suspect their lag was due to their internet speed. I’m using AT&T fiber with a 1GB speed, and my Wi-Fi typically measures around 400 Mbps. The remote control is oddly shaped; it resembles a long, skinny nightstick. I have always bought Samsung but wanted to try and save some money and decided on this TCL 75 in. I am not disappointed, the tv is lightweight for it's size and set up was easy. The picture quality is very good and so is the sound, it has 2 speakers at the bottom and I don't need to use my sound bar for normal daily viewing. The remote also works well and is easy to use, there is a slight delay sometimes but that doesn't bother me. There are video and audio adjustments so you can fine tune it to your specific taste. I bought this on sale for just over $500 and I am very satisfied, I didn't want to spend over a thousand dollars for a big name brand, so if you want to save alot consider this brand tv. ... show more

Pros: -Great crisp image -Vivid colors -Great price point (especially during Black Friday) Cons: -Horrible remote (not a problem really for me since I'll be using an Apple TV 4K) -Speakers are HORRIBLE. Absolutely tinny sounding. -Built in FireTV has slow response when working with the remote. -TV settings being roped in with the FireTV functionality seems limiting Overall: Buy the TV if you need a cheap but decent quality TV. I'd recommend investing in a soundbar if you plan to use this as a main TV and not a "sometimes" or spare TV. I paired this nicely with a Sonos Beam Gen2. The tv is decent but not great or amazing. The response to the remote buttons is a bit laggy. The picture is pretty decent but unless you change the settings the backlight seems to auto adjust a lot with different scenes and that can get a bit annoying. Sounds pretty decent. All in all not a bad tv but not a great tv either. We got it because our old tv crapped out in us and had to get one quickly for foot ball. So for the price wasn’t a bad deal but I wish I spent the money n got a better one. ... show more

I love the size, it was bigger than I imagined and very thin. It is awesome for a wall mount, even though I did not mount it. It is thin and light enough to do with ease. I can say the volume isn't the loudest, but I have Bluetooth, so no worries (I need volume...kids...lol). I may order surround sound for music and movie nights. The T.V. alone surpassed what I expected for the price. Pairing was easy (I already had a Fire Stick) and it took less than 5 mins. Happy shopping! I am very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

The Color is fantastic and the picture is pretty great as far as backlight, brightness, and sharpness. It seemed smaller than my last TCL 55" but I measured it and it was the same size. I'm still trying to get used to the Home page layout of the Fire OS - I prefer Roku. 3 things that bothered me about this T.V.: 1.) I'm disappointed that the 3.5 mm headphone jack will not output to my multimedia speakers (with subwoofer), like my last TCL. I did all the proper settings and no sound at all. Luckily, the onboard TV speaker sound is better than most TV's if you tweak the settings a bit. It's good enough that I didn't feel compelled to buy a sound bar immediately (may get one eventually). 2.) Like other reviews mentioned, there is a lag sometimes. It's just enough to be annoying but nothing to pull your hair out over...so far. I will update if anything gets worse with time. 3) This is my worst pet peeve about this TV - I hate the remote! It's too long, overly sensitive (easy to trigger), and not very efficient with the button layout imo. But I have small hands so maybe that's why. Having Alexa makes up for some of my dislikes. All in all, this is an excellent TV for the price and a great deal. I like that it has a Media Player (app) so I can see stuff from a thumb drive right on my T.V. Lets see how long it lasts. The T.V. that I was replacing, a 55" TCL 5 series with Roku, the video went out 4 months after the 4 year extended warranty expired. Good thing I didn't pay for the extended warranty lol. ... show more
