I didn't expect this brush to actually hurt less than other brushes when detangling but omg! This brush is as smooth as butter and cuts through knots like it's nothing. It barely feels like you're brushing your hair. I even ran my fingers through my hair after expecting to still find knots and there were none. I have super fine, straight to wavy hair that tangles if you look at it wrong. Knots are a constant battle, and this brush helps so much! I use it in the shower and throughout the day as needed. Great wet or dry. It can be a little slippery in the shower with product but I've yet to drop it. Same size as any regular brush so traveling wise that's personal preference. I have very fine hair that has changed once I reached menopause. Prior to this, I have never had frizzy hair a day in my life. In the past 5 years, my hair with had been straight with a slight wave, suddenly it has become curly and prone to tangles. I don't know how to take care of my hair any longer. I have spent so much time and energy lately trying to get the knots out of my hair. So one day I was searching for something else on Amazon and this was a product recommended to me. After reading reviews, I decided to take the plunge. I am thrilled with this brush. Also, I have a small dog that is a Bolognese. They have hair similar to humans, in that they don't have an undercoat. Not only does this help with allergies, but she never smells doggy. Plus she feels like one of those fancy throws or blankets. Their hair tends to be curly. It is not as prone to mats as other dogs. Because it is curly, they can get small tangles. So using a regular dog brush or comb can pull just a little. For this reason, my dog is not excited to be brushed. It's not so painful that she whines, but is just ready to be done sooner rather than later. So I tried the brush on her. She appeared to actually enjoy the brushing for the first time, and even got sleepy. She allowed me to brush even sensitive areas like her ears with no complaints. I plan to get a brush just for her.     • The hype is not real! It’s a terrible hairbrush

I love the look of the brush. This brush in a couple days will start breaking hair off, the ends and cuticle will be damaged! Trust me I’ve tried them over and over as the hype on tik tok and all places make you think you are missing something special. Each time I have to trim my ends after I use it for a week or so. It does detangle wet hair nicely imo. I have long, straight dense tons of hair. It’s awful. Dollar tree brushes don’t show little hairs in the sink after brushing. When I use it over the sink I see tiny bits of hair, when I then do a test to my regular ball tipped brushes…no bits breaking off maybe long strands in my brush as normal. I wanted to love it and don’t get how it has all these wonderful reviews. In time I think you will be sorry you used it on your hair. Also, the top hair has little bits sticking up all over when I am using this brush daily. It’s so true and also it gives my hair a different texture too- like hay no softness. I have always had long hair. My hair length is always lower than my waist and sometimes the length gets to my hips. My hair is super thick and frizzy and it is pretty hard to brush. So, I found this brush on Amazon and it had many good reviews and I bought it. When I tried it for the first time…OMG it was PERFECT!! This brush felt so amazing. First of all, it didn’t yank or rip out my hair like other brushes always did. This brush glided through my hair as if it was silk. Also, it got through every single tangle with ease. All of my other hairbrushes would leave a few tangles in the center of my hair and it took forever to brush. Now I enjoy brushing my hair because it takes a minute and BOOM amazing detangled hair. The best part is…I stopped losing hair!! My hair doesn’t come out of my head in clumps anymore. This brush is a lot gentler, yet way more effective than any other brush I’ve owned. I love this brush. it’s the first time i’ve ever used a brush and i could feel a big difference. my hair was so soft and i could run my finger through. what i do is i use the marrying method to get my conditioner absorbed into my hair after i’ve slightly finger detangled and split my hair during the shampoo. The i use the brush in verticals motion starting from my ends. my hair would be nothing without this brush haha. id like to get a felicia leatherwood brush too!!! ... show more

This brush is amazing! This is the only brush that my 2 & 5 year old don’t cry over when I brush their hair. Both my girls have curly hair but my 5 year old’s is a lot more coily.…and this product glides right through her hair (when wet and using a good detangler). Highly recommended!

This is an amazing hairbrush. For the first time in my life of 52 years I can brush my hair without pain. I honestly can't believe it. I didn't think it was possible. When I was little, I used to cry when my mom would brush my hair because it hurt so much. As an adult I would insist on brushing out my own hair before getting a haircut because it hurt a lot more if I let someone else brush my hair. That's how much it used to hurt to brush my hair. Another plus about this brush is that the hairs that are "shed" and gather in the bristles are very easy to remove. Unlike other brushes where you have to fight a little with the brush to get all the hair out of the bristles. And the bristles feel really invigorating on my scalp. I feel like there is a little exfoliating going on, too. Which is good. I just love this brush and highly highly recommend it. I'm so glad I discovered it and I can't believe I've been buying those cheap grocery store hairbrushes for my whole life having no idea that there was any other kind of brush "technology" out there.
