it works well. I only wish the bar in the middle was more adjustable. I just got td17kxv Vdrums. the cymbal stand & the second drum pedal sit almost on top of each other. hard to manipulate. took me a youtube video to figure out how to adjust the tension..other than that, it works as it should.

Bought this for my 16 yr old son end of July. He loves it..BUT..this stupid piece keeps coming apart! He keeps "fixing" it but I think we'll have to replace the part because that little pin keeps working its way out as he plays. Annoying to pay this much for something that won't stay together. Otherwise..it sounds great and he loves having a double pedal. ... show more

I purchased this to use with a Roland electric drum set and it works well. I’m a beginner adult drummer, but it seems to be good quality for the money (only used for 2 days so far). The packaging didn’t seem to be too good and I was concerned because I heard metal parts shaking around in the box, but everything seemed to be ok. It does make some squeaky noises while using but maybe some WD-40 will fix that. ... show more

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the average price of a double kick pedal hovering around twice what the Iron Cobra 200 cost. After a few months of use with my TD11KV, I haven't got a single complaint. I initially thought they were a bit loose and floppy but that was just me neglecting to raise the tension on the pedals, once you tighten the springs they become snappy and agile. They squeak a bit, but not to the point where you'll ever hear it over your drums, and it could probably be remedied with lubrication if I cared enough to fix it. Construction is nice! Cast aluminum/steel with some nice accents. No creaks or stiff spots in beater travel. Return springs and are easy to adjust. I'm a mechanic. I wish I could say something more "drummery" . Nice bearings in the pivot points. There we go!
