Full disclosure: I am a paralyzed traveler. I need a carry-on that is rock solid in terms of functionality and durability. I’ve used this luggage extensively in the six months that I’ve owned it. My limited mobility makes me hard on my luggage. I bought this product to replace a very expensive Hartman carry on. I also a big T. Anthony fan/purchaser. I have high standards. I’m blown away by this item, especially given its v affordable price point. There is a lot of great to say about this luggage: First, it is perfectly designed in that there are two outside pockets that are perfect for carrying a billfold, cell phone, etc. They do not interfere with being able to open the luggage completely or partially in terms of accessing the main storage area. This is quite clever. Second, inside, it is super sturdy with an interior metal frame. The wheels are super solid and roll well with little resistance. Nice touches include a large dedicated pocket for dirty laundry and a separate toiletries pocket. U won’t need to pack a separate dop kit (saving space). The telescoping handle works well. If I had one improvement in the design, it would be to allow this handle to lock before full extension. I lock my luggage when I leave my hotel room. The zippers have holes at the end to facilitate this. I also like that the handle for carrying the luggage horizontally, is exceptionally strong and perfect for my lock so that I may store it under my bed to lock it to the bed frame. Last, I purchased mine in Royal Navy blue. I must say with the Swiss flag in red and white, it is stylish indeed! I very much look forward to packing it and loading it for my next adventure. I recently traveled using a hard side piece of luggage. Upon arrival in my stateroom and unpacking I noticed the case had received substantial damage to both top and bottom corners on one side.; three cracks in the suitcase. I debated buying a new piece of luggage for travel home but opted to buy a roll of duct tape to mend inside and out. Upon arriving home I researched many soft side expandable pieces of luggage and read hundreds of reviews. I chose this 25” piece in black because it had many positive reviews, was on sale at $40 less than same piece of luggage in several colors. I recieved this piece today and inspected it thoroughly. There was absolutely no visual damage. All the zippers worked with ease. Wheels rolled easily across both wood floors and area rugs. The telescoping handle raises to two positions but wish there was a third lower option. I’m 5’5” and the settings are a bit high for me to roll comfortably at my side; however, I can always pull it behind me. I can also easily maneuver along side me by simply holding the top handle that’s used for lifting. This seems to be well made and I feel sure I’ll get several years of service for travel. I love this thing. I’ve had it for 2 years and been a lot of places, and it’s held up great. The wheels roll smoothly and it’s easy to handle. Perfect size for a carryon for a 4 or 5 day trip.

Best suitcase I have ever owned. No regrets purchasing this. I packed for one week and still had plenty of room in the suitcase. I love all of the different compartments on the inside and outside. The material and structure of the suitcase are high quality. I love the wheels. They make it easy to pull/push your suitcase with virtually no resistance. Rolling your suitcase alongside you is so much nicer than dragging it behind you on two wheels. The color is vibrant. Be forewarned that the lighter colors will show dirt more easily. I was able to spot clean the outside of the suitcase with mild dish soap and water after my vacation. The only thing I'm concerned about is the handle. You can easily raise it and lower it, but it doesn't feel very stable when the handle is all the way up. We will see how it holds up over time. I bought 2 of these for a family trip to Europe where even checked luggage has size restrictions. I didn’t want to buy normal TUMI brand in bulk for the family as it didn’t seem cost effective and I figured if they even lasted a year or two I’d be happy… man I have been VERY pleasantly surprised. They are not the same quality as TUMI, but definitely much higher quality than other suitcases I’ve purchased through the years. They roll very easily even after 2 years of use. Absolutely no issues with the materials breaking and zippers are still as easy to use as day 1 (and they worked very well on day 1 by the way). My most recent trip with one of the bags I had an issue with the handle where one side didn’t come up with the other when lifting the handle because one of the screws in the handle had come loose. Since I was traveling, I didn’t have access to a screwdriver to tighten it and used a credit card to tighten the best possible, ultimately lost the screw in the trip. Again, although it was a little weird walking the bag around with only 1 “leg” of the handle up, the bag handle still went up and down easily with the 1 good “leg”. When i returned home I contacted Swiss gear customer service and they promptly agreed to send me the replacement screw. I expect the bags will last for many more years based on their current wear and amazing customer service!     • Case good, wheels not so much

I travel quite a bit so my cases get used. This is a great carry-on case but one of the wheels started falling apart and binding up within 2 trips. It was quite challenging to roll it on even surfaces and impossible everywhere else.
