We installed this into the outflow of our pump on our 13x42 above ground pool and started running it right away. It took all of 5 minutes to screw together and start flowing water. We are located in north Florida and it’s been a brutal month of May and early June. No rain and really hot. We checked the temperature of the pool before turning it on and we were at around 89 degrees before dark. The next morning the pool was down to 84 degrees. Perfect temperature. We continued to let it run thinking we would hang around 84… well the next morning we checked again and it was 80 degrees. Now I had to hear the kids complaining all day about it being TO COLD! Now a lot of this will come down to the size of the pump you are running. We have a variable speed speck pool pump that really pushes water. That really helped get the water in the air to cool it off. Definitely worth buying if you need to cool your pool down. ... show more

If you need a fountain/aerator for your above ground pool, this is sufficient. Works as it should. Adjustable in many different ways. Easy to set up. Slightly flimsy but honestly it’s inexpensive. Definitely worth the cost.

I really like the design and the ability to help cool the pool. Unfortunately it didn't even last a full season. The housing that fits into the pool jet cracked after 3 months. I replaced the piece and things looked good. Now, the tube that runs vertically to the sprayer tube has cracked. Back to square one as we head I to another summer. ... show more

Update: This works a lot better when hooked directly to a 3/4HP pump. Can spray about 25 feet. I aimed the nozzles high, since my pool is only 20ft wide at the pressure side pool cleaner port. I'll kick my rating up to 3 stars, since I had to spend almost $1800 on an electric pool cleaner to free up the pump outlet, and that option is not something that everyone would be willing to do to make a $25 pool accessory work... This arrived today. The install was simple, taking about 5 minutes plus a bit of time to trim back a plant. As shown in the pictures, it's pretty unimpressive, spraying about 6 feet...this is when using the high pressure valve orientation, as specified in the Amazon product description. I know I shouldn't really expect much for the cheap price, but there were a lot of good reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It's likely that the poor performance is related to the size of my pool, since the pump pressure is distributed between 9 pool/spa jets. I think it'd work well if connected to the booster pump outlet for a pressure side pool cleaner, which I may try if I ever get around to purchasing an electric cleaner. Anyway, I'd avoid this for pool/spa setups. It'd probably be fine in smaller pools that don't have many jets on the main pump outlet. ... show more

Got this for a few reasons but mainly to help cool the pool. Fit perfectly, key provided to remove the inner threaded connector was very helpful. No adaptor needed, screwed straight in. Replaced two Hayward directional inlet. Photo is with the pump at 80% spraying out a little less than 10'. The rubber oring type sealing rings were not the easiest to get in straight but managed in the end. ... show more

Product is well put together, and easy to assemble and install. But riser tube was too short for sprinklers to be above water - thus no fountain. Seller said it should have included an extendable two-part 23" tube to get above water line. It only came with one 11" tube. Wanted me to pay for another tube or missing tube? Maybe they should have multiple sku's for in-ground and above-ground pools? Seems I was sent the above-ground kit? But there was no choice on Amazon for the type of fountatin needed, based on the pool type. ... show more
