This little gadget was a hit as a gift for my daughter with her new pool. It ended up in the skimmer, shooting water and light through the skimmer box. Really enjoying these fountains so far. We have a large inground pool and two of these create a nice ambience when the sun sets and darkness falls. May need to buy a third! My only complaint, if I can call it that, is that one makes a lot of noise while the other makes none. And a reminder to users…read the instructions…charge these fully prior to use and turn on fountain for at least five seconds under the water—that made a huge difference in how high they throw water. ... show more

    • Works well, but not as expected or for very long.
Run time is about 2 hours. Not terrible, and if this was the only issue, it would be 4 stars as it is rechargeable. The color selection that you can make only applies to the down-facing lights. The upper lights just do what they want. It was not clear in the ad that the down-light would be a single color and the up-lights under the fountain would change more like a disco ball. Kind of wipes out the point of having a selectable color option. Pretty, although with the slightest breeze, it pushes up to the edge/coping spraying water out of the pool. Pump is strong enough for the task, spraying up more than 30" above the pool surface with fresh battery recharge. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Works better than expected. On a full charge they only run about 3 hours with lights and fountain on. Shoots up higher than I thought they would. To stay in place I tied fishing line to a clear rock. Otherwise they end up in the skimmer.
