    • Works great without chemicals in a small kitchen.
I've had great luck lifting sticky messes as well as crumbs and such quickly without chemicals using this mop. The floor is immediately "walkable", and it doesn't require a mop bucket, so I am more likely to clean as I go, so things are generally cleaner since i've started using it.

This is wonderful! I have alot of sensitivities to chemicals, so I have to use all natural products. I had a steam mop years ago, and was so excited to get this. This works so great! It is super easy to use, and cleans like a beast.....with just steam! It easily deep cleans my floors, with just a simple push of a mop. It leave no unpleasant smells, and the residual moisture on the floor dries faster than a regular mop. Well worth the price. ... show more

I'm glad I had a previous steam mop years ago allowing me to make a comparison of the details. I like the seafoam green color. I like that the handle clicks into place to stand the mop upright. I like that it's lightweight. I like that it comes with 2 cleaning mop pads, plus a plastic guard to be used on carpet (I haven't used this on carpeting, I don't know that I will.) I like that this is quick for small spot cleaning, or on a floor that's not too dirty. It comes with a small plastic container for easy filling of water. It does provide steam quickly. I like the idea of a steam mop, this model just has inconvenient functions. I don't like the cord length, I can't plug this into my family room outlet with enough room to reach the opposite side of the room without unplugging and replugging. I don't like that the reservoir can only hold water, my previous steam mop would hold cleaning product versus walking around with a spray bottle of cleaning solution. I don't like that the on/off button is lower on the unit, then the power light button is on the opposite side. I don't like that although the top handle has a slotted spot to hold the cord, it can only be used for storing the cord because when you put it into the slot, it doesn't hold the cord in place. I’d been using one of those expensive hard floor cleaners that sweeps and mops in one go. Unfortunately, it wasn't getting my floors very clean. One use of this steam mop, and my kitchen floor is back to shining. The pads are super thick and robust. I use it in the bathroom, too, especially around the toilet. I appreciate that this heats up and is ready to use quickly. It is also reasonably lightweight and easy to maneuver. I highly recommend using distilled water to keep this cleaner working correctly for as long as possible. I’d never heard of a “steam mop” until I saw this. In the past I’ve had steam cleaners that did a great job. These were always much more expensive than this steam mop. In addition to a tank of hot water and shampoo, they had a suction function that picked up the dirty water and stored it in a separate compartment until disposed of. These machines did the job but were hard to set up and almost impossible to clean and dry the machine. The steam mop is very easy to setup – just use the included measuring cup to add water, turn it on and very quickly it is ready to go. The steam comes out much hotter than in the traditional “steam cleaner”, goes through the pad and quickly cleans dirt from the rug or floor. The pad then wipes up the dirt. No dirty water tank to empty. When finished, just toss the pad in the washer and it comes out clean, ready to use again. It’s easy to clean the steam mop when finished and it doesn’t take a lot of storage space. ... show more
