    • Small Footprint for a Good Workout
I love that the machine slides out of the box almost entirely assembled. I just had to clip on the two elastic straps and it was ready to go. There is a small knob at the back center of the stepper to control the pedal resistance, but that's really the only setting that needs to be, and even can be adjusted. This is a simple exerciser: step on the pedals, alternating feet, and curl up with the elastic straps, if you need an arm workout, too. It feels sturdy and well-balanced. The straps are a bit long for me--I am 5'2"--so I do raise them across my body rather than straight up and down. It looks like I can shorten the elastic in the future, though, by retying knots in the elastic by the handles. The foot resistance gives my legs a good workout, and I don't have trouble balancing on the foot pedals (there are no straps to hold your feet, just a rubbery surface). The electronic counter keeps track of steps and calories burned. For a small piece of equipment, just a bit over a foot square, I can get in a good at-home workout when I can't get to the gym, and I'm enjoying using it. ... show more

This Sweetcrispy Mini Stair Steppers with Resistance Bands for Exercise at Home, Portable Exercise Twist Stepper Machine offers a good work out and works as the perfect stepper even while watching TV. The resistance control knob allows you to increase or lessen the resistance as you work to strengthen your calves, and leg muscles. The counter tracks your steps , burned calories. I loved ow right out of the Box you're ready to get to work. Just hook up the stretch cables for a cross body work out even while doing standing dumbbell curls to get a 2 for one all the while the stepper maintained its stability and non movement. The stepper is well constructed and definitely durable the shocks that support each foot pedals adjust to get a maximum workout. I like that this stepper takes up little to no room and easy to store or put on a shelf. The price point makes it a very good value and would make a nice addition to your small home gym.     • Great option for small spaces and easy to get started
This is great. It comes set up, so all you have to do is attach the cables and you're ready to go. The resistance levels stay the same, but you can adjust the height for an easier or harder workout. It definitely got my heart rate up and was effective. You do need to concentrate to ensure you're activating the muscles you want, but you could also lower the height and do it for a while pretty mindlessly. The cables are a bit long for me so they don't give as much of a workout (and I'm 5'8"), so anyone shorter may find that they are ineffective. They are not necessary to use the stepper though. It does come with instructions, including guidance on maintenance to extend the life of the machine. It was comfortable for my knees. The guidance does say the max weight to use this is 220 lbs. It is quiet enough not to be a bother if you live above someone else. It is not quiet enough not to notice if you want to use it in an office. It has a very small footprint and is easy to pull out to use. I would recommend this for anyone interested in a stepper. ... show more

Not a bad little stepper. I appreciate that it's non-skid, protecting my hardwood floors, and the materials seem to be of good quality, though I can't yet speak to its long-term durability. The inclusion of resistance bands is a nice feature, though I personally prefer using hand weights for my upper body work. While the manufacturer emphasizes a quiet hydraulic system and silicone cushioning, and the hydraulics themselves are indeed fairly quiet, the carabiners connecting the resistance bands create a significant clinking noise during use. This is something to consider if you plan to use the bands in a shared space or while others are trying to relax. Also, while the stepping motion is relatively quiet due to the hydraulics, the impact of each heel strike is audible. The height adjustment knob offers customizable resistance, but it requires some practice to find the precise setting you desire. It's not the most intuitive mechanism, and you may need a few workouts to dial it in consistently. The LED monitor provides useful feedback on workout metrics, which helps with tracking progress. 1 However, I find it difficult to read from a standing position, likely due to my own eyesight (I need my glasses!). As one who works in front of a computer all day can take a toll on your health. This portable stepper makes it appealing to tuck under my stand-up desk. I get my step on during work and don't have to really think about it. It includes a step counter and timer that is helpful if you have a set goal. The adjustable intensity is a plus! Resistance bands are a bonus for me personally as I'm currently have frozen shoulder. Resistance and weights seem to control the pain I have throughout the day and sleepless nights. Great little machine for the price. Assembled easily. Very sturdy. Durable. Very quiet, hardly any noise. Functionality 10/10. I did 1000 steps and felt the burn, and I’m in the gym daily. It adjusts easily. Is compact. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone building a home gym.

I am absolutely in love with my stepper! It is compact and doesn't take up much space. It comes already fully assembled as well. It has some good resistance on it, so you definitely feel those quads and calves putting in some work! The bands have good resistance to them as well. I may have to figure out a way to shorten them to feel more resistance, since I am short in height and they are a little too long for my arms. It also has a counter for steps and calories burn a well. I would highly recommend this if you are limited on space but need an effective piece of workout equipment! ... show more
