I am really impressed with this 7 drawer rolling cart. I did a ton of looking around on amazon to find something that would organize my beads and jewelry making stuff. My husband suggested a metal rolling tool chest, and while I think there would be more space, it would look like crap in the living room, where it's going to live. When I finally decided on this, I was nervous because there was a lot of complaints on the reviews, about the assembly. Honestly, this was one of the easiest things I have ever put together. It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes (I timed it) WITH breaks. In fairness, I used a drill and upgraded to a longer shafted screw driver. I don't have hand strength anymore, so without the drill, I would've had to wait for my husband to get home. Here's my experience. It was packaged very well--no damaged pieces as shown in my first two pics. The instructions were great. They even had extra pics of things that could be tricky like the drawer slides, in the front of the manual. Everything was marked and easily organized. So whenever I build these kind of projects, I always lay every thing out and make sure I have all of the pieces and parts. Organization is key. If you have stuff all over the place, all willy nilly, you'll just frustrate yourself. A couple of tips. Pay VERY close attention to the manual and what piece they are using. Pieces 1 and 3, specifically switch sides a couple of times, and I think that might have caused confusion for some people. The WOODEN dowels need to be put in so that there is only about 1/4" to 3/8" protruding. On the locking cam nuts, or Eccentric wheel as they call them in the manual (LMAO), look at the piece. They actually have a mark that shows where it needs to be placed (see my third pic). The mark needs to line up with the hole underneath--That way the screw will tighten in properly. I was initially concerned with the bottom drawer panel because it was loose, but after you put the slide rails on, it tightens everything up nicely. The casters are "ok", they don't roll great on carpet and I may eventually get larger wheels at harbor freight, just so it rolls better. I was also a bit concerned that the back is just heavy cardboard, but when everything is together, it really seems sturdy. The way they designed it was kind of cool because normally you have to put a ton of tiny nails all around it. This didn't have that or need it. I think the space is going to be good for crafting and I'll have some room to grow. Pic 4 shows 2 of my bead boxes stacked. They are 11.5"L x 7.5"D x 1.75"H, so 3" stacked. There is about 1/4" from the top of the box to face of the drawer above. Overall I am super pleased. I'm still slightly concerned about the bottom of the drawer being cardboard, but worst case scenario, I could replace it with wood. I would absolutely recommend this, and would buy again. In fact, I'm about to put together a second one (hopefully it's packaged the same way). Great buy! ... show more

I purchased 4 of the 7-drawer cabinets for LEGO storage purposes, and I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised about the looks and quality of the product. PROS -It was well packed and it wasn't damaged during transit, even though it was a heavy box. YMMV -The printed instructions are clear and easy to follow. -It comes with everything that you need to put it together plus a few extra welcomed pieces. It even comes with a small screwdriver (though I advice to use a bigger one). -97% of the surface of the boards come covered with the color surface of your choice. It seems a waterproof material (countertop feeling), which makes it look finished and not rough, sharp and unfinished exposed particle board only usable against a wall. In other words it looks rather professional. -The holes were aligned correctly and the hardware provided was of sufficient quality. -All the drawers run smoothly and can be switched with any other drawer, which doesn't always happen when drawers aren't properly aligned; Which also means every component is well designed and squared. -I didn't use the wheels as I placed the cabinet on carpet, but they look OK quality. NEUTRAL -It takes a good couple of hours the first time for 1 person to put it together carefully following the instructions. Less and less after that, or about half that time for 2 people. CONS My only 2 complaints are: -First, the smell (inherent to every particle board furniture) which I believe comes from the glue used in the process (and that some say, it can be carcinogenic...). It takes a couple of days to dissipate or at least for one to stop paying attention to it. -Second, the fine dust attached to the boards that may possibly be residue from the "wood" itself or the aforementioned glue... Not sure, but it's annoying and it's everywhere. MY ADVISE: -Use carpenter's glue to reinforce the whole structure. After all it's not advisable to disassemble particle board furniture, because it's not strong and it breaks easily. -Use a bigger screwdriver to work faster and more comfortably. IT IS possible to use an electric screwdriver, it reduces the assembling time even more, but keep it at the lowest torque and don't over do it. -Use a furniture polisher and rag to wipe off the dust, it really removes that "foggy" layer of dust and makes the surface shine. -Try to work on a well ventilated area or outdoors, the fumes and dust may or may not be dangerous, but better be on the safe side. -Wash your hands after or even better, take a shower, that dust will be everywhere... I bought a computer desk and it only came with 2 drawers in it. I needed a few more drawers and a little more storage space also. I found this 3 drawer set with 2 shelves and it was the perfect compliment to my desk. The black wood grain finish matched the black finish on my desk perfectly. I measured my desk and compared it to the measurements of this drawer unit and found it would roll right under the desk nicely. There is even a little space between the top of the unit and the bottom of the desk so I can store a few things on top of the unit like another shelf. The drawer action is very smooth and the wheels roll well when you need them to and also lock when you don't want it to move. I am very pleased with this product and if I need a couple more drawers later on I will buy this unit again. ... show more

My aim: to have everything I need within reach of my reading chair. This item makes it possible. I have a floor-lamp/tray combo on the right side that I love and don't want to move. Sadly, I couldn't find any cabinet that swivels from the left side with drawers that faced left side. So, I bought a stand-alone swivel tray on a weighted stalk. I placed it to the left of my chair with the tray swinging toward the right side. This cabinet fits right next to the stalk, with the drawers oriented out to the left, where they can be accessed. Finally, I have the setup I want. Very well-packed. Directions are clear. Be mindful to orient the drawer slides properly (I had to re-install the interior ones after the fact and it wasn't easy).
