    • Slow bearings
So I've been a skater since I was 11 years old so once I bought the eborad I had the feeling it was going to fast but apon closer inspection I learned the bearing were absolutely tearable so I put andele pro rate bearings in place of the stock bearings and it's so much faster smoother I recommend anybody who buys one of these skateboards also buy a set of really good prorate varying like I said the stock bearings are garbage ... show more

Good for little kids, or beginners. Not very fast but fast enough to be fun.

    • Not so great.
So far not so good. These worked great on Christmas Day and the day after then stopped working. My kids could not keep the boards moving forward. We sent the boards in for repair but Swagtron found nothing wrong. When the boards came back, my kids could not even get across a two car driveway without it stopping g even though they were fully charged. Another call to customer service and received some riding tips. We will see how that goes. Kids would love for them to work but are done messing with them. If we can’t get them to work, the boards will be returned for refunds. UPDATE - We gave up trying to get these to work and have been trying to return these skateboards for refunds. I am very disappointed with the company’s failure to respond to my requests. ... show more

    • My daughter loves this board.
Got this for my daughter and she loves it. She just popped on the board then off she went (she's used to riding a penny board). The rainbow back light is really cool, and the beep lets us pedestrians know that there is something about to happen that we should be aware of. As a first dip of the toe into electric skateboards, this was a total win. It was definitely worth the money to extend her range (board can get her to more bus routes, increasing her level of mobility & freedom to explore without begin dependent on others for transportation).     • Good choice for starter, durability is a question.
Bought for a teen as his first electric board and it was great choice. Deck is a little short for teen feet but overall the ride was great and wasn’t too over powered like some for a beginner. Kick assist definite plus vs hand held. Can’t get the teen out of the house enough but he road a few miles the last few days so he is enjoying it. Main issue is durability. The rear deck is already cracking along the LED light so will try the warranty tomorrow but again, as long as that works out for the price it’s been a good starter board. ... show more

My 10 year old son received this for Christmas. He LOVES it! It doesn’t go too fast so it’s not dangerous to him but goes fast enough to have fun on. He just pushes off, the skateboard beeps and lights up and the motor kicks on and keeps him gliding all the way down the block. He has played on it for days and still hasn’t needed to charge.     • Brakes no longer function.
I'm an avid eskater, and I wanted to pick this up for my friend [120lb] so he could go riding with me on my Ownboard. After the first damn day, the sensors no longer work. They are completely unable to detect when you are on or off of the board. This means that, when he got to the stop speed on the hub motor, he could no longer stop it. Even if he was off of the board. This could have easily launched him and the board straight into traffic. Also, it's trucks do not tighten to the point they need to, they are always going to be loose. I do not recommend this to anybody new to eskating, it poses quite a few hazards. The one redeemable quality about this board, is the graphics on the grip tape and the LED bar. Speed is somewhat-decent, but definitely not what you'd be getting from literally any other eskate. All in all, the risks way outnumber the benefits. ... show more
