Our pup has a 19” neck, and we opted for the XL to have a greater width for the collar. For reference, our dog is a 110 pound Airedoodle (25% Airedale 75% Standard Poodle). Bow is nicely proportioned. The bow comes separately, and you slide it on the collar, so you can opt to do without it. Colors are nice and vibrant! I have to say this is far better quality than I had ever expected. Extremely well made. Sizing is accurate. Collar is sturdy and fabric is sturdy, but all still soft enough and comfortable for my dog. I got the red plaid. I did not know how the bow attached. It has two elastic straps on back and the collar slides through those. I had hoped that I would be able to add or remove the bow quicker. But, whatever, this is a great product. Bow is not going to fall off. Nice fabric and very nice finishings. The clasp and dog tag hook are sturdy metal with a dark, shiny finish that makes it look very classy. The metal clasp feels and looks like real quality. Attaches firmly. I bought the collar for the holiday look, but this is a real everyday use collar. Packaging was cute. Got this for my puppy's "big boy collar." It fit when he was about 25lbs, and at his current 35lbs there's still PLENTY of room for growth (he's a catahoula, and I could see this fitting him up to +50lbs). It's sturdy, well-made, and really cute. The bow tie is fantastic, but as a rowdy 4 month old, I told him his tie is only for special occasions. That being said, if he were less of a handful he could probably wear it daily. I don't necessarily see this as a Christmas color, though it could be. I got it for a more springtime/ summer look. Everybody says he's a handsome gentleman in his new collar. High-quality metal buckle, leather detail, good stitching, and, again, super cute! Highly recommend.
