**update: i have had this for over a year. It still works GREAT. Holds a charge for well over a week. The dogs have not broken it. It still has a long range. I have no shocked them. Just the tone and the vibrate function. They understand and know what the collar is. I use it when camping and hiking. They respond well. They have their freedom and I have my peace of mind without having to yell for them. I've only had this for a few days. I have two cattle dogs, one listens very well, but my youngest is hard headed. I also camp a lot is why I ordered the 2 collars, so that I can let them know boundaries. Pros : it has a loud tone that both my dogs respond to. There are 3 levels of vibration, my youngest responds to the highest vibration setting, which is great. My oldest responds to the lowest vibration. I have not had to use the shock function, so I cannot speak to how strong it is. I had a previous e collar that I loved, but it finally died, but it only had one level of vibration. Cons : its difficult to swap between the collars on the remote quickly. I wish there was a dual function so that I could alert both collars at the same time. I'm not a fan of the collar itself, but I'll have having leather straps made for it to hold up longer. Overall, the collar and controller itself are super light and feels like it will break easily. It hasn't in the few days that I've had, but we shall see. My overall impression is, it's a great collar for the price. The range is great and I'm not having to shock either of my dogs to get their attention. I'll update further into the future as I use these. ... show more

I received my collars on Friday and we put them on our 2 dogs Saturday morning. We have a 7 year old and 2 year old lab-mix male dogs. Both are HUGE barkers, they bark at anything that comes by our house, a car, a truck, a golf cart, a person walking, birds, butterflies, leaves falling! We can see the green of a golf course hole, and they go crazy when there are golfers on #17. We are in the mountains with a glass front and glass back of the house, so they have unlimited views of everything. This has been a nightmare, with my husband and I working from home and both dogs barking all day and night (headlights) at anything that moves. On Saturday, after putting on the collars, people walked by the house with a dog on a leash, both dogs started barking, we used a verbal command to stop barking and use the beep for the first time. Both dogs stopped dead! The younger one, barked one more time, we gave a verbal command and used the lowest setting of vibrate on his collar. He stopped after one bark and sat down, completely unsure of what was going on. In the past 48+ hours, we have had to use the L setting on vibrate 3 times with the 2 year old and only once on the 7 year old. The beep and a short verbal command is all we need! The garbage truck just came and stopped, not one bark from either dog, the 2 year old whined for a couple of seconds, but never barked. Using the beep to get them to come inside is working beautifully. They are coming inside from the backyard when called the first time. The 2 years old is already calmer and more relaxed. It is like he doesn't have to be on "high alert" all day, looking for something to bark at, so he can just be a dog and enjoy the family. The collars and remote came charged, paired and ready to go. The instructions for use are easy to understand. I wish we had ordered these years ago. We recommend these collars 100%! ... show more

I bought the two collar pack and couldn't be happier with the results. I have a couple of American Bulldog puppies that are relatively hard to control. They were attacking farm animals on a regular basis. Two days with the collars, and that habit is mostly broken. One of the puppies has never been hit with a shock, he responds to simply the vibration mode. The other pup is a little harder to control and has received a few jolts, which stopped the bad behavior immediately. I tried the shock out on my hand before putting them on the dogs, to make sure it wasn't going to hurt them. At 30 it was a weird. almost painful feeling, but not harmful, nor actually inducing real pain, so that was what I set them on for them. The remote is set up to control up to four collars, so it seemed like it was going to be a challenge switching between dogs, but as it turns out, I've had plenty of time to cycle through to collar #1 after correcting the one on collar #2. The change in the dogs is like day and night and all of the stress from training the old fashioned way is gone. No more chasing, no more yelling, no more getting upset with them. They accept the collars going on without a problem, and don't mind them being on while playing. We have a big farm, and the dogs can be pretty far away when I send a signal to return (tone mode, usually gets them to come back). Probably the most important thing is to give a voice command before administering a correction. The dogs will pick up quickly on it. At this price, you really can't go wrong, and as far as I can tell, they work just as advertised. Everybody here is happy. ... show more

    • Great e-collar for the price
I got the dual set for my two pitbulls, here’s a pros and cons list: PROS: -collar is extremely adjustable and can fit just about any size dog. -it comes with different prong attachments depending on your dogs fur type - the battery life is amazing -lock feature has saved me so many times - you can turn the shock level all the way down to zero, so in case you accidentally press the shock button it still won’t do anything - the buttons are glow in the dark and it comes with a strap to attach to the remote Cons: -the vibrate level is only low,medium, and high. The “99 levels” it has are for the shock feature only. (I never use this feature) -the lowest vibration is still pretty strong and I wish it could go even lower. It’s Comparable to a phone vibrating on your neck, which isn’t painful but it’s a pretty high stim for a dog. OVERALL: I really do like this and will be using it daily. My dogs have behaved so much better and I’ve only been using it for a few days. definitely worth the price if you are just using it for basic commands. ... show more
