I’ve had it for about 24 hours and I’ve probably logged at least as many miles. It’s so fun! I’m 41 and I don’t have much skateboarding experience but I’m finding it easy to pick up and really enjoying it. Great product, seems well made, and great value - win!

The media could not be loaded. Looks and rides awesome! Came with quality pads for knees, elbows and palms. Tested yesterday fine for an hour. Acceleration is great (I am 55 years old, 6.3, 222lb). Stable in the turns (a bit wide, but then stable on high speed). Shape of the board contributes well for the good response during turning. The remote is also nice and easy to operate. Okay let's just start off by saying this product has exceeded my expectations. I've been skateboarding since I was a kid so this was really like trying to ride a faster bike. Online it says it goes 24 mph but I can easily hit 35 in seconds, going uphill. The charge lasts a long time, enough to get across town and back. The length and wheel base of the board allows for going over light gravel on the side of the road and bumps in pavement without issues (suspension would be cool though lol) The board is a little heavy to carry around in stores if you're commuting but I don't really think that's what the board is intended for. My only issues was customer service related. It was supposed to arrive in two days via amazon, even was listed on their website with the same delivery expectations. For some reason it ended up being shipped with UPS and took two whole weeks. The other issue was that I cracked a solid inch chunk off the side of the front right wheel within two short rides, I don't know if I was pushing it too hard or if the board was sitting in inventory too long and the rubber was compromised. Either way I'm trying to contact customer service with little luck. Other than these issues you should definitely buy this board. ... show more

    • Great full-size board for a reasonable price.
Works out of the box, takes only a short time to get comfortable riding. Comes with knee, elbow and wrist guards, all of which I would recommend using when riding as you can accelerate to some high speeds. Does not come with a helmet, and I would advise you wear one while using this. The display on the remote is clear. The remote will vibrate when the board has 25% charge left, but you will want to watch for when it's at 50% so that you can turn around and make the return trip. We had two issues with this skateboard. 1- The remote stopped working. Tried to replace it but Amazon doesn't have it. The only way to get it through Backfire themselves. Price tag shipped $80 2- After 5 months both motors on the board stopped all of sudden. Tried to call Backfire they don't answer. All I got a voicemail saying they open 8 to 5 EST and even if I call within that time still get same voicemail and nobody returns calls. I am planning on calling Amazon to let them know about this seller and see if they have something they can do with them to honor their warranty ... show more
