This is the 3rd sink mat I've tried and I finally hit the 'jackpot'. Some were more expensive and claimed they "gripped" but did not. Others were too large and did not allow for food items to drain. These are a good size. The hole in the center is ideal for allowing food into the drain or garbage disposal, and it does what it's supposed to do; protect the sink. My porcelain sinks are stained, and there are areas where the glaze has worn off. I really like these sink protectors because they keep dishes off of the sink, and they cover the stains. My sinks look much nicer and are protected. I am much more pleased with these than I expected to be. They fit perfectly, and the holes align perfectly with the holes in the sink. ... show more

    • It does what it says...I reckon...but....
It's a "sink protector". That's fine but I was thinking it would also keep some of the dishes, things like small bowls and cups, from sliding toward and into the drain if/when I put hot water in 'em just to let 'em sit for a bit. And it worked perfectly...for that reason...for about a week. But after that? A sink filled with steaming hot water and these mats get "soft" and eventually become as slanted as the sink. ... show more
