It expands to a really long length and it fully customizeable. I presently have it holding 3 cast iron pans, a steel grill pan, 4 glass lids, cooling racks, and a casserole dish. This is a very nice rack, however, it was packaged very poorly. All of the upright dividers were jammed in the box and entangled with each other and were very difficult to separate.
