  • Excellent Stand and cheaper than many triple mounts for those who need extra height
Size: 4 monitor plates - desk clamp
I was looking for a triple monitor mount that would lift the monitors a good ways up, as I have a lot of radio equipment on my desk. For years, I've been balancing the monitors on the equipment using shims and blocks of wood to keep them somewhat on the same horizontal level. Recently I decided to look for a triple monitor mount so that I could clean up the desk a bit and give myself more room. After looking at the mounts that are out there, I found that most triple mounts include a center support post that is only about 18" in height. With the monitors installed in such a setup, I would only get 6 or 8 inches of clearance below them, which wouldn't leave enough room for my radio equipment. I searched for triple mounts with longer center posts, but the few that I found were well over $100. That's when I happened across this quad-mount stand. It has two posts that screw together to give a length of about 32". Though it's designed for four monitors, it works perfectly to give my triple monitor setup a lot of extra 'lift' off the desk. Only time will tell how this stand holds up, but for the price I'm very impressed with it so far. The construction seems to be of good quality and it includes both clamp and grommet installation pieces to attach it the various styles of desks and tables. With the great range of height adjustment, this stand can give you lots of room back on your desk and would also give enough lift to set up a standing work station if that's something you are looking to do. As a final note, while I didn't see many complaints about side monitor 'droop' with this stand, I found that it can happen if all the various joints going out to the arms aren't tightened fully. After installation, I noticed that the side monitors sat about an inch lower than the center monitor, even though the center monitor was right up against the side monitor mounting bracket. I solved this by simply tightening all of the joints in the side arms. Once I did that, the side monitors were lifted quite dramatically and even ended up being a tiny bit higher than the center monitor. So, if you find your side monitors sagging, try tightening those joints up and it should solve your problem. ... show more

  • Well made
Size: 4 monitor plates - free standing
I didn't use this for monitors...weird, right? Hear me out, my wife needed something for her laptop that could swing away from her recliner so I used one of these with a Vivo laptop tray (VESA mount), and 40lbs of workout weights holding down the center pole to keep it from tipping. It allows her to swing her laptop above her lap without touching it (heavy, too hot, etc). Since the rig I cobbled together only uses 1 monitor arm the other one simply gets removed. When my Father-in-law saw this he said "I want one!" so I had to build another one, lol. Yeah, it's kinda frankenstein'd but works like a champ. So, A+ for versatility, hehe. ... show more

  • It was a good mount but it did not fit my 3 monitors.
Size: 4 monitor plates - free standing
It was a good mount but it did not fit my 3 27-inch monitors. I have two curved 27-inch monitors on each side and a flat 27-inch monitor in the center and it would not fit unless I put it dead flat which makes no sense. SO I returned it and found a better mount. If you are running smaller than a 27inch this mount would work fine ... show more

  • Very nice product.
Size: 4 monitor plates - free standing
Well built framing. Easy to assemble. Excellent price. I do wish they would skip on the hex-head bolts and go with nuts on the whole unit however. That would make it safer to tighten down when holding heavier/larger monitors. GGs Suptek.

  • Solid
Size: 4 monitor plates - free standing
I have four 27 inch HP monitors on this mount and it's holding very well so far, however, you have to tighten the side mounts very well to keep the monitors from tilting down on their own. It helps to have a second person helping when you hang the monitors to the side, so this doesn't fall over. The mount is pretty heavy and I have no worries about it supporting the monitor weight The bottom is padded, so it hopefully won't leave any marks on my nice new variable height desk. I wanted a setup where I could have two monitors in Landscape mode and two in Portrait, so this works perfectly for that, and I don't have to drill a hole in my desk (however that is an option and it does come with the hardware to do so, if desired. ... show more

  • Not a true 4x27" Mount
Size: 4 monitor plates - desk clamp
The Allen head bolts on the arms come tightened by machine, so when setting up, those are extremely hard to break loose. This also isn't designed for 4 27" monitors like it claims, the only orientation that works nicely is 2 stacked and 2 vertical on either side. If you have a 27 on the arms(with a 27 in the middle) the only way to have a horizontal orientation is completely flush both horizontal and vertical with the middle monitors. Very wobbly with 4 monitors on as well. Going to look for alternate options. Update: dropped from 2 stars to 1 star after removing my monitors to swap to different mounts because the plates do not come off from the stand easily once mounted. I had to just remove the 4 screws from the monitor while holding it so it didn't fall instead of just being able to slide the mounting plate off. Both because the plates won't remove from the mount and 2 even if I wanted to try, the stand isn't stable enough to have any sort of pressure applied without fear of the whole thing collapsing. Stay far away from this Mount for 4-27"monitors ... show more
