I bought one of these last fall and it worked great. Easy start easy operation. I have operated alot of tillers over the years and I admit I was skeptical because of the smaller horsepower but this tiller did great. This spring I was almost done and the gearbox broke. I called great circle and they corresponded with me and after I sent pics and then the gearbox (they paid shipping) they refunded me all that I paid for it and encouraged me to buy another from them or Amazon. I bought another one from Amazon slightly better price but it was still $50 more than I paid last fall. Great value for the money, the gearbox breaking was just one of those things that happen I don't believe it was defective or a bad design. I been farming for over 50 years and I know bad design when I see it. Not the case here ... show more

Before attempting to assembly his tiller I read over the instructions a couple of times and checked to make sure everything that was suppose to be included was actually included and that I had proper tools for assembly. Everything was as it was suppose to be in regard to what was included. The nuts and bolts are metric. The actual assembly probably took about an hour. The only real glitch was the control lever instillation. I could not get it to install as shown on the diagram, but I reversed it and installed it much like an old tiller had the control lever installed and that worked just fine. I filled the crankcase with oil, added gasoline, and it started on the second pull. It ran smoothly. I will not be actually using it for several days since we have had rain, but if any issues I will update this review. Just looking at it and the limited running of the engine and form what I know about past tillers I am impressed. ... show more

    • A good value, for an existing garden plot.
Firstly, it’s packaged well. It comes with adequate instructions. And putting it together was no great challenge. However, I had to make some changes in the hand throttle cable, which was too long to be operated by the handle. I’m putting in a garden in a spot that has never had one. Dirt was hard as a rock. Hauled in soil and other stuff to mix. This tiller was just not the tiller to do that! Had to do the initial break-up with an excavator. Then the struggle to bust it all up and mix it. It picks up rocks very easily, so you have to shut it down to dislodge them. And it’s just not very heavy. All that being said…if you are maintaining and grooming an already established garden plot…this may be the machine for you! ... show more

A friend bought this so I used it to see if I would like it and I definitely did powerfully works amazing so I ordered one unfortunately I thank it was stolen of my porch or got delivered to wrong house on accident. so I did not receive mine but amazon took care of it and did the refund I went to reorder it and my friend told me not to and he Gave me his and I love this rototiller ... show more
