These are really nice, but unfortunately the arch is not high enough for me. Had I known, I would have purchased the high arch. Now I wear them with my Copper Fit arch supports on top of them and my foot feels good. I recommend these if you know what arch you need.

The orthotics have a hard, not bendable bottom from the heal to the arch to make it sturdy. The rest of the orthotics is soft and bendable which enables you to fit it into the toe of your shoes. I just had a knee replacement and found my arches had collapsed, which turns my knees in. With these inserts, I am standing and walking correctly and no strain on my knees. After over a decade of trying every insert I could find and spending thousands of dollars on prescription orthotics, all of which just made my problem worse, my physical therapist recommended these inserts for my neutral running shoes (the key is to find shoes that don’t cut away under the arch like most running shoes do), which my seventh and final podiatrist had recommended. Dr had put me in Powersteps, and those were way better than all the others I’d had, but the Superfeet Berry inserts combined with my New Balance 840 running shoes are THE combination for my very troubled ankles. After 15 years, several x-rays and MRIs, I finally had an MRI that showed what the underlying issue causing my recurring peroneal tendinitis/tendinosis is: very shallow tendon grooves, so the lateral tendons in my ankles slide around instead of stay in one place. This is a lifelong issue, so correct support is absolutely vital for me to avoid further tendon tears and other damage. I’m so grateful for these inserts. My ankle issues are way more under control than they have ever been previously since I started using these. Better than I ever dared dream actually. I do wish there was just a little more padding over the plastic part, but I have gotten used to it. I wear these with my New Balance 840 running shoes all day pretty much every day. I have a set for indoors and a set for outdoors, so I’m wearing these all the time. I also wear them with dress shoes—as dressy as my feet will allow anyway: Propet sandals and Cobb Hill Mary Janes. So I’m wearing these inserts constantly. Since I rotate between 2-3 pairs, I usually don’t have to replace them too often, around 8-10 months. These were recommended by my orthopedic doctor instead of the usual ones you find everywhere. They are a few dollars cheaper here. I now have several pr as not to have to keep moving them from one pr of shoes to another. Highly recommend.

For the price these should come fitted to size like the Powerstep do for less money. Having to cut them is ridiculous because there is no way to test to see if they are comfortable without ruining the insoles making them non-returnable. Honestly these are extremely uncomfortable and offer little arch support. They also tilt my feet ultimately making my hips hurt. They are also not wide as they say because they aren't wide enough to fit correctly into my Brooks Ghost shoes without my pinky toe being pinched between the insoles and the shoe. 100% disappointed and feel ripped off because they are so expensive. :-( ... show more
