I HAVE BEEN FAR BETTER OFF AND MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE AND MOBILE SINCE I REPLACED MEDICALLY PRESCRIBED INSERTS/SUPPORTS WITH THE SUPERFEET TRAIL BLAZERS. THE PRESCRIPTION SUPPORTS COST (U.S.) $175 AND ULTIMATELY PROVED TO BE UNWEARABLE, AS IT WERE, FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. THEY RATHER HURT MY FEET, WERE IN GENERAL EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE—WORSE, THEY COULD NOT BE RETURNED FOR A REFUND. THE “SUPERFEETS,” ON THE OTHER HAND, HAVE PROVEN TO BE REMARKABLY COMFORTABLE AND EFFECTIVE IN RELIVING THE PAIN I WAS EXPERIENCING WHILE TRYING TO TAKE EXERCISE. THEY WERE EASILY TRIMMED WITH A SCISSORS TO MY CORRECT SHOE SIZE AND WERE EASILY SLIPPED INTO PLACE (I DO RECOMMEND TRIMMING THE INSERTS JUST A LITTLE AT A TIME. IT IS EASY TO MISTAKENLY CUT THEM TOO SHORT). IT IS MUCH EASIER NOW TO STAY ON MY FEET, EITHER WALKING OR PERFORMING WORK ACTIVITY WHILE STANDING IN PLACE, FOR LONGER PERIODS THAN WAS BEFORE POSSIBLE. I CANNOT GUARANTEE OTHER BUYERS THAT THEY WILL HAVE THE SAME POSITIVE RESULT THAT I HAVE HAD. Superfeet can make a good pair of boots even better. The insoles seem to outlast the boots, but I always get new insoles for new boots. I used to get the Orange ones, but now SF makes this version that is specifically for hiking and I love them.

I'll start with the positive, these insoles are very comfortable. I use them in a pair of Terrex trail shoes that I have and they relieved pain that I'd typically have after a long hike with a pack. With that said.... I only have around 50 miles on them and they are falling apart. On a recent backpacking trip the top layer started separating at the heel. Once that layer leaves the foam underneath exposed, it quickly breaks down. These were worn in a well-fitting pair of shoes, so this is not due to a sloppy fit. Based on my experience, they feel great, but I don’t expect them to last much longer. I think marketing these towards hikers is not realistic and I don't feel like they were a good investment for that purpose. Your mileage may vary. ... show more

i broke my ankle in 2013 and it took me till 2015 to find superfeet. I had to have surgery that left me more susceptible to plantar fasciitis than most people and super feet hike insoles and run insoles changed my feet to where I no longer have to wear specific shoes to be able to have comfort and no pain. it took many years for me because I have metal and not full range of motion but I guesstimate that some one with out my challenges would adapt much faster and be happier sooner. I can wear skate shoes to just walk around again and I wasn't able to do that immediately after my injury. ... show more
