Only thought after first use is weight. It is a little more than the standard Paddle Board style that came with the Board. Also one of the push pens/ lock was pushed down inside tube. I was able to reposition it to correct location, so no big deal.

I lost the paddle to my brand new blow-up SUP immediately this summer (left it leaning on a tree and was gone a few hours later). Had plans to SUP again the next morning so had to go to REI for replacement - Expensive mistake! I bought the cheapest paddle they had for over $100 & it was too tall for me at its lowest SUP-style setting. I ordered this after and LOVE it. Shorter options for shorter folks & just so darn pretty ;-). Extra bonus, the 3 sections in the SUP mode break down short enough to fit in the SUP backpack - helping prevent another left-behind loss! I have not had to test the float function, but it is light so I imagine it would give you at least a minute or two to swim back to the board and paddle to it before filling with water! 10/10 would buy again ... show more

Okay, so to put this in perspective, I am not using my SUP on the ocean or even a Great Lake, just a small neighborhood lake. I am not an athlete or anything serious when it comes to paddleboarding, I am a shlub that just finds it fun. I have been having some muscular and joint issues in my legs stemming from a surgery three years ago that now prevents me from standing up or even kneeling on my SUP so a friend recommended that I get a kayak style paddle and sit on my SUP. Enter this MoiShow. For me and my needs this works just fine. I like that it is lightweight, that it it comes apart and I can stow it in the bag with the SUP, that it is adjustable, and I like that maybe someday if I ever am ever pain free again in my legs I can take off the second blade and use this as a regular SUP paddle.
