  • Great product for the money
Color: Red
This is the heaviest stationary bike I've ever owned. Saw the weight limit of 220 and was worried, I'm probably 240 but this bike is solid. Doesn't take a mechanical genius to put together, they give u a Allen wrench included. Definitely use a wrench for the seat and putting pedals on, it's a lot easier. The bike is very quiet, pretty happy with my purchase. Would recommend getting a gel seat cover, I got one for sixteen bucks on Amazon. The original seat is murder on your butt, couldn't go past twenty five minutes without getting off in years cause of seat. But hey that's expected, this bike is worth the money ... show more

  • Good basic bike
Color: Red
It's a very good, basic bike. It has no "bells and whistles" but it will give you a good workout. It also seems to be very well made.

  • Beautiful Bike So Far!
Color: Red
I literally just finished putting this bike together and went on my first 1/2 hour ride! I researched spin bikes for about a month before buying this one, and have probably read every single review of this Sunny bike on the entire internet. I'm going to try and include some answers to questions that I didnt find answered in other reviews that I read. I didn't want to waste $200 on a junky piece of equipment, but so far this bike actually does feel really sturdy. Most of it is metal, and it weighs so much that you will probably need a friend to help you drag the box into your house! 1st off, the assembly is definitely not easy and took me about an hour to put together. The hardest part is that the instructions are vague and unclear and list a ton of parts (nuts bolts washers etc) however most of the parts of the bike are already put together (which was good! but still slightly confusing). Don't worry about it, and keep going. lol. Anything that already has the bolts in it you are going to have to unscrew to put on the bike. 2nd, there is this plastic thing called the Lower Cover and Top Cover that look like a single unit, but you need to unscrew them, (two of the holes are like 3 inches deep and you actually cant see the screws inside so just stick the screw driver in and hope for the best!) You have to jam the handle bar connecter into the Lower Cover, which has a round hole, yet the handle bar connecter is square shaped. Kind of odd. 3rd getting the seat to connect to to the "seat slider" was the hardest part of the entire assembly. The instructions don't even bother to mention how to do this, and you basically have to verrrrry carefully unscrew one side of the bolt-connecting thing, slide the "seat slider" into place, and then push the bolt in front of it to hold it in place. Super hard to do and frustrating, I ended up throwing it all once! haha Perhaps would have been a lot easier with another person helping me. Everyone else is correct in saying that the seat is very hard. It's just crappy rock-hard plastic. I bought the "Mongoose Seat Cover" that Amazon suggested people should buy with this bike. It did not fit at all. I actually ended up cutting the seat cover right where the ties are and managed to squeeze it on. I just finished with my first ride, and the seat shifted a few times during the ride which was kind of scary! It surprised me when it happened and I thought it was breaking! I took it apart though and it seems fine. haha Hopefully it was just shifting itself into place. I did get a good work out in, and I normally work out 4 days a week on non-spin bikes at the gym. So this bike doesn't seem to be of "beginner" quality as it has been called. I lifted 5lb weights while i pedaled, and was drenched in sweat in no time. Just an FYI I am 5'8, and around 150lbs. Other reviews have talked about the foam resistance thing making a burning smell, I didn't have that happen with the first ride but I could see how it could wear down over time. One review I saw (not on Amazon) mentioned that you could fix this with a rare earth magnet, I wish the reviewer had embellished how you could do this, but maybe one of you guys out there will know what he means and respond to my review. For now, it seems ok though. Altogether is a really nice looking bike, and seems so far to be sturdy enough and of good quality. ... show more

  • Crank thread stripped in first ride but I was able to repair
Color: Silver
I was very excited to order and use this bike as a home Peloton replacement while staying-at-home. I was able to carry the separate components up to my second-floor unit and assembled the bike in about an hour following the directions without any trouble. So far, so good. The next night I went for my first ride (a 45-min power zone endurance ride with Dennis). 7 minutes in, the right pedal fell off. I reattached it -- being extra careful to tighten it as much as I could with the spanner as per the directions -- and started up again. 5 minutes later the left pedal fell off. When I went to reattach it I found the threading in the crank was stripped so the pedal could not be reattached. I checked the right pedal and it was already loose and coming unscrewed again. I have emailed the manufacturer because I can't believe with such great overall reviews the pedals on this bike should be unscrewing themselves less than 10 minutes into a ride. 1-star review right now because I got 12 minutes of riding in before the bike became unusable. I hope they can fix the issue and I can give a better review very soon. Update: up to 2 stars as I received an email within 3 business days as promised asking for proof of purchase and pictures of the problem. I have sent that in and am waiting for a response. Update 2: I've revised to 4 stars because the company customer service was very responsive and managed to get the replacement crank arm out to me within a week (originally estimated a month because of stay-at-home orders). I did have to buy a crank puller to make the repair, and the video the company sent was not very helpful, but it led me to finding a much better video on YouTube that walked me through taking the old crank arm off and installing the new one, then reinstalling the pedal. I took my first ride the next day and so far so good. I did not try to take it out of the saddle, though -- one step at a time. ... show more
