Old one is a good toaster and it still perks along after 10 years or so. I am replacing in anticipation of the tariffs to come beginning next year. I hope the new one is as good as the old one. It is basic, so it you want a toaster that talks to you or whatever, get something more pricey. If you want something really pretty for your kitchen counter, get another toaster. The old one doesn't toast as well as when it was new and it is looking like it is 10 years long. But how old is your current toaster? This toaster is still made because it has been proven to be reliable and a work horse. It makes toast and toasts bagels. That's it. Toaster works great.has a nice look also.my daughter toast bagels an it does toast the bagels well.it will work with bread an hamburger buns also.i recommend getting it an it can toast UpTo 4 slice's.my daughter loves it.

    • I like it but don't love it.
Everything works OK on this. I know it's a cheap toaster so I should have probably knew this coming into it but still, there are some things that leave me wanting more. Hard to say with a toaster too. Mainly the "button" you push to start toasting. It's sort of weak feeling and some times it doesn't stay down at all. However on the flip side, once it's down, if you have to force the thing to stop, let's say, you are a 30ish man that isn't that good with toasters and you found that the high number is way too much, then you really need to force it to "pop" back up. Bought one and there was a problem with the engagement part of the toaster. It wouldn't stay down to toast. So, they sent me another. And it works great! I was totally surprised and happy on how they corrected my purchase.

So far it works great. It is about the same as any other toaster just a little larger. We just wanted to be able to toast 4 pieces of bread at one time and for that task this is just fine. Buns and bagels do fit.

    • Wrong style
It's not waht I thought it was . I was thinking it had a retractable cord and it don't. Not sure it I just did not read it right or if that part was not listed. Other then the cord part it was a good buy
