I really like this toaster, especially for the price point. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. You can choose which setting you like for your toast, and it really is accurate at how much you want your bread toasted. Depending on how much you wanted, toasted, it can be done in anywhere from 3 to 4 minutes. The openings are big enough for normal bread as well as bagels. I love the design, it fits with all my other appliances, which are also stainless steel. The size is not too big so it works well on any countertop. My household has gone through many toasters, most of which were disappointing in results. Being on a tight budget, price was an important factor in narrowing down choices, so I didn't really expect to have much choice of options. After careful review, I chose this one, hardly believing it would deliver. I LOVE this toaster! Best of all, my picky spouse also loves it. This toaster has easy to use controls. My favorite is the dial control for toast level with digital display of toast level and the time involved as it did its job. If I want to interrupt the process, I can press the illuminated "Cancel" button, and my toast pops up, Toasting bagels are similarly easy and effective, the main feature my spouse wanted. Best of all, the simple boxy chrome design makes it a nice addition to our countertop. ... show more

When I started this semester of college, I accidentally burned my old toaster (I also burns eggs, which I'm told is quite a talent.) I had to get a quick replacement that worked on the cheap. It's been several months now, and though I'm back at home, I've still been using this toaster. It's a wonderful toaster, but it has several big drawbacks discussed below. I'd still recommend it. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: This toaster is cheap and arrived quickly (for us 2-3 days) The different settings generally work well, particularly the defrost feature It's space efficient, and quite durable. It looks nice in the kitchen Cons: This guy is not very easy to clean as you can see from my photos. If you're smaller pieces of bread in this toaster, their is no good way to take them out on your own (the toaster doesn't have a great ejecting/popping function). I have lightly burnt my fingers multiple times trying to take it out. This is actually quite frustrating. When you first get the toaster, it emits a weird smell. The instructions say to use it a few times in an open space with nothing in it and then this goes away. In my case, the smell did go away after 4/5 toasts in my parents garage. Overall: This toaster has served me well in these last few months. For $29 I think the flaws are manageable enough that the toaster is ultimately a good buy. I love my new toaster! This toaster is definitely an upgrade from my old toaster! I make frozen waffles a lot and always have to reset the settings on them because they tend to become soggy in some areas. Well those days are over because this toaster has a defrost setting which adds 10 extra seconds of cook time to defrost before it toast. It also has a removable crumb tray, which makes clean up super easy. I didn’t know I needed this feature until I had it! This feature makes it easier for the kids to keep the toaster crumb free. Finally no messy crumbs on the counter top under the toaster ☺️. Also the toasting features by picture is very accurate! No more having the toaster setting just right for you only for a family member to change it to their liking and ruin your whole breakfast moment 😂. You can simply press the picture of your desired toast color and it will toast to that shade. It fits in well with my other appliances and is of good quality. This toaster is definitely a great value for the money. I will definitely recommend ... show more

I'm pleased with this toaster. It gets it main job -- toasting -- done pretty well. It's not as perfectly even as a "premium" toaster, but since I could buy nearly six of these for the price of a "premium" one, I'm perfectly happy with the evenness. The overall build quality feels decent for the price point. It has a number of very nice features, such as the bagel setting (only toasts on one side) and the countdown timer. The latter is a feature I've not had in past toasters, and it's very helpful. It fits wide slices and bagels just fine, and I've yet to have anything jam or be difficult to remove. The stainless cladding looks nice and blends well with other appliances. All in all, an easy to use, decently performing toaster at a good price (especially if you can get one on a price dip). I always read the reviews before purchasing anything, so was so happy that this toaster came recommended so highly and by so many people. Add me to that list! I love all of the settings for toast, the wider openings for bagels, and the reheat, defrost and cancel features. At first, my bagel didn't pop up high enough and I was disappointed, thinking I might have to send it back, but then I read the little instruction booklet that it came with and it said to just lift the lever higher and the toast/bagel will come out higher. Yea! It also happens to match perfectly with my Keurig coffee maker right next to it! ... show more
