Description

You can work harder for longer with the PiggyBack charger and easy-to-change battery - just twist off the endcap, replace and go. High-impact, super-tough nylon polymer body with "Rocky Stipple" texture for a sure grip. 2600 Lithium Ion Battery. Fits existing Strion chargers. It has LED charge-continuity indicator, compact, Snap-in charger holder that mounts in any position, 2 meter impact resistance tested. Meets applicable European Community directives. CEC Compliant. Cool white LEDs provide bright white light: 500-Lumens; runs 3 hours. 90 CRI LEDs using Streamlight's Color-Rite Technology for paint matching or to differentiate between wire colors: 400-Lumens; runs 3 hours. UV LED for leak detection: 500 mW; runs 5 hours.

Pros: 1) Features magnetic tail stand 2) Has a hook for attachment 3) Emits cold, warm and UV light 4) Runs about 3 hours or so 5) Helps during repair work with warm high CRI index light that gives great color separation and emitted from the internal side of the panel with diodes 6) Works well as a regular cold light above 4500K for cleaning internals and visual vehicle inspection emitted from external panel of diodes 7) UV light to detect leaking fluids (single diode placed on the internal panel on the very tip) 8) Flashlight is reasonably priced Cons: 1) Non-replaceable battery 2) Magnetic stand does not attach to cars made from aluminum Summary: great product, highly recommend - probably one of the best automotive lights for every need and use - also check Streamlight Strion (features replaceable battery) or Streamlight BearTrap (more lumen output at the cost of the size) ... show more

This thing is crazy insanely bright, the magnet holds strong and the battery out lasts most other LED lights I have in the shop. This is not a small light, but when you need allot of light under a car or working on any project, this thing is your own private sun! I had bought a bunch of cheaper lights from online stores and the local Harbor Freight. Typically their batteries got weaker and weaker and their output was 'just ok'. I finally bought this after hearing glowing reports and I wish I'd just stumped up in the first place. Firstly, this large and solidly built. I've dropped it, had it covered in brake fluid, brakekleen, you name it - and it's rock solid. Three very usable lights including a handy UV light. I'm waiting for a sale and I'll buy another one. Good light for inspections. Not very rugged or durable. I mostly use this light for automotive air conditioning inspection. It doesn't work well for doing any repair work. Not easy to clean. The aluminum base deforms when it falls on the ground if you knock it off it's magnets. The plastic ribs on either side of the charge port broke quickly. I have bought plenty of tool truck brand light and none of them seem as durible and last as long on high settings as this one. Only downfall it does take long time to charge evan with the mount that does fit my sreamlight 2020 and it has 2 options to charge but i like using the mount , it has white light , natural lighr and a small black light on the tip , it will hold the setting you like for brightness so you dont have to set it up all the time . The base has a magnetic end , a hidden hook and if you look kinda a claw feel to the end . Only thing i wish is the head swivals side to side , it does move up and down and one last thing it would be nice if both sides light up but it is extremely bright ... show more
