I like how the package came with a nice note on it. We have this plates for weeks, I like that is easy to wash, I like the color, and I like how heavy they are. However the knife did scratch one of the plates it's very minimal, but careful with the type of knifes. and they do not stack right (different size or different molds) so we have to grab them carefully there is like a gap. Also the bigger plates we can't storage on the cabinet, it's too big. ... show more

These plates are an awesome design and the perfect set for me. Oddly shapes bowls suit the types of meals I eat. Probably not for everyone. I don't get the impression they are very resilient. I love this product straight out of the box. They hand washed and dried perfect, I haven't had them long enough to put in my dishwasher, but have no doubt they will preform well. All the other "stone ware" I own comes out of the dishwasher spotless. The matte gray finish on these dishes goes will with my, present, matte black stone ware dishes. The design/shapes of the dishes are exactly what I was looking for. I have to give a two thumbs up on the packing/shipping of this item. It came boxed in three separate boxes and when I opened the third box there were smaller boxes housing the dishes with 2 to 4 items in each box and sheets of cardboard separating each item. These plates and bowls have been the best I have ever purchased. However they only lasted less then a year. We have followed the care for instructions and half of our plates and some of the bowls have cracked.
