Nothings perfect but this little fella is pretty close, had a harbor freight winch still have it but swapped this one in its place does better than the HF (disclaimer…I’m using this as a wrangler hard top lift) but she works like a champ gonna order another one for the ole Honda 4 wheeler

First off I’ll start by saying I highly doubt this can handle 3500lbs, it struggles pulling my camper, something me and my wife was able to push, into my garage. Second the wires on the box were labeled backwards, the power cables said it was for the motor and the motor cables said they were for the power. Luckily I’m and engineer and noticed the length of the cables didn’t make sense, noticed the directions shown it opposite (which was correct) and then I disassembled the box to verify. With them at being said it is also more expensive than a very similar Walmart version… so if I had not gone through all the work to install it already I would of replaced it. This is the second winch I’ve put on my vehicles. It’s a huge improvement over the first brand. It’s smooth, relatively quiet and well built.
