Nothings perfect but this little fella is pretty close, had a harbor freight winch still have it but swapped this one in its place does better than the HF (disclaimer…I’m using this as a wrangler hard top lift) but she works like a champ gonna order another one for the ole Honda 4 wheeler

    • Easy installation but Remote won't work and instructions need work

Installed the winch and disappointed as the one thing I needed, a wireless remote, does not work. I even put new batteries in it (two 2032s) as the ones in the remote were dead. Still no luck. The instructions are useless and there is nothing mentioned in the instructions about a wireless remote. I'll contact the company, but it looks like I'm in limbo until this is figured out. Go figure . . . I'll change my rating if this issue is resolved quickly. ... show more

    • Two major issues

First off I’ll start by saying I highly doubt this can handle 3500lbs, it struggles pulling my camper, something me and my wife was able to push, into my garage. Second the wires on the box were labeled backwards, the power cables said it was for the motor and the motor cables said they were for the power. Luckily I’m and engineer and noticed the length of the cables didn’t make sense, noticed the directions shown it opposite (which was correct) and then I disassembled the box to verify. With them at being said it is also more expensive than a very similar Walmart version… so if I had not gone through all the work to install it already I would of replaced it. But at last it does work for what I’m doing. ... show more
