The value & quality is exactly what I was looking for. I paid for a membership at a gym, to lose weight, and it's 3 months later and I haven't stepped foot inside. I'm a little bit of a homebody, and decided to buy something that I could use while watching TV. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and for under $30 this was the right choice for convenience, value & quality. I was concerned about keeping my balance on it, because I'm 68 years old. I love this stepper! It's small, compact, very light, can travel with it to work if you'd like... but... I wish the details of how to use the stepper was available before purchasing. The booklet states not to use for more than 20 minutes.WHAT?! The mechanics below get hot to the touch at 15 minutes, so if you want a 10 minute workout, perfect! If you want a 30 to 45 minute workout, you have to literally wait 30 minutes for the stepper to cool down. I decided to purchase a sitdown/stand up elliptical as a backup. Just as other reviewers have said: nothing to assemble. Ready to use. There are plenty of suggestions and videos to keep you going. I’m just going to start 5 min. Alternate with 2 min. Use it every day. Check your foot placement and use a countertop to place your hands for balance.
