The media could not be loaded. This seat is perfect by the pool! I trust Step 2 products because they’re always sturdy and made very well and this is no exception. Whether sitting on the side or around the pool these give me some much needed back support. Don’t have to worry that the slip/slide around because your weight keeps them steady. They’re fine if the kids splash and allow me to enjoy being near the kids without having to sit all the way in the water. If they’re sitting in direct sun all I have to do is fold them down or move them to another location. Portable and lightweight so they’re easily stored too. Easy to mount on fence or wall when not in use. These are a definite game changer! I decided to get two of these for the sun deck even though the product info said they were not submersible. So far it is working. The seat does fill with water after I sit on it, and it seems to be enough weight that they are not moving around in the pool. The seat takes a few minutes to drain when I take it out of the pool, and it is a bit heavy with the water weight, but still manageable. The seats are sitting on PebbleTec, and they haven’t created any problems. Of course, I am being careful not to drag them across the surface of the pool. I don’t know how the stainless steel pin will do with the chlorinated hard water. I guess I’ll find out at the end of the summer. One minor downside is that I think they look a little like home medical equipment, maybe even a toilet assist. LOL! I think a different color would be better. Anything other than white or the “scrubs” light blue would probably look more like a pool accessory. But they are already getting lots of use! Great price for these and they’re easily portable, so I’ll be taking them other places as well. Overall, I’m very happy with them. Wish they made a matching table. ... show more
