I want to start by first saying this is not my first steam cleaner and honestly I'm disappointed it wasn't. Not only does this machine heat up water super fast, but it also cleans really well. Cleaning grout has always been such a chore and I hate having to scrub at it forever, but when I used this you could tell that from the steam and pressure alone it was cleaning the grout by itself. I have used this on my walls, my floors, car tires, and a chair. I know that it sounds kind of weird but I would call my friends and family members over to watch as we would clean something because it felt like a new invention. I like the design, it is not very heavy to move, it is super user friendly and honestly my only "complaint" is that you have to clean up the dirty water it leaves behind after you clean, but even at that, I would rather have to mop it up than it just sit there.     • Small but mighty! Doesn't work great for thick carpet.
I have a house full of carpet and I bought this in hopes of removing my annual carpet cleaning bill. I think it does and 'ok' job, although not as good a job as a professional high-grade cleaner. Perhaps I'm unfair to this little thing. It's very small and very portable, which makes it great for moving around the house. It's also pretty affordable and, even if I only save 3 years of professional cleaning, it will have paid for itself. I think I'll keep it for now, but maybe pay for a professional cleaning every once in a while. ... show more

This heats up fast. I love that it has a digital temp display on the front, letting you know when it is ready. The power cord is thick and heavy duty. I used it to clean my tile floor and it did an excellent job with the mop attachment and the fabric cover. The only complaint I have is that the small scrubbing attachments seem to wear out the brushes really quick, maybe because of the brush thickness and the steam temperature. ... show more

This steam vac is an easy to maneuver workhorse. It heats up very fast and reached a steam cleaning temperature of 289°. I pressed the button and hot steam came out of the cleaning head and quickly cut through any dirt or residue on the floor, and then I released the button, put the machine into a hold mode which stopped the steam production, and went over the floor with the damp microfiber mop head and scrubbed up any loosened dirt, film and water from my ceramic tile floor. The steam that was produced was very hot, but it was not excessively wet, which left very little water accumulating on the floor. I was able to clean and mop up the water really well when I cut the steam from the mop head, and it only took my tile floor just a few minutes to dry. I did not have any trouble at all with dripping, leaking or excess water, and it performs so much better than the old steam vac that I own from about 20 years ago. It does get very warm, and I was a little bit concerned when I saw the temperature on the reservoir climbing up and up and up, but then I realized that the floor is protected by the mop head and the microfiber pad that's adhered underneath, so it's not actually that degree that was hitting my floor. My floor cleaned up so nicely, and like I said it dried within minutes, and when I walked over it this morning it was so smooth and clean and there were no sticky or wet parts at all. The machine is very easily to maneuver around your room, and the handle and wand are long enough to where you don't have to bend over and it has a good ergonomic feel to it. The cord is really long and it can stretch out over my kitchen and dining room without having to replug it into a closer outlet. I like the fact that the cord does detach and you can store it with the unit but it's not wrapped around or hanging off of it creating any kind of a trip hazard. The reservoir holds about a half a gallon of water, which makes it very nice because it didn't use that much water for cleaning my entire kitchen and dining room, and it's really nice to be able to complete the job without having to continually fill up the reservoir. There are other attachments and supplies which came with it, but I have yet to use those. I will explore what they do, and how they will enhance the cleaning process around my house. I primarily got this to use on my Ceramic tile floors, and so far it works beautifully. I'm really looking forward to trying out the other attachments, because this is a complete cleaning machine which can perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks around the house. I really like the design of the unit, and the fact that it does have a carry attachment across it, and that it is small and compact, and yet it does slide around the floor very easily as you're using it. I have been very pleased with the performance, and it feels like it's something that will last a long time because it is very durable and very sturdy. I know steam cleaning is really good for sanitizing and killing bacteria, and that was one of the main things that I was hunting for as a cleaning tool. ... show more
