  • This is the one
Color: 6 Monitor Mount
Buy this one. I don’t care if you only have 3 monitors, or 4 or 5, this is the one you want. I do agree with some other reviews that the range of motion is a little shallow, your monitor setup will be a little bit more “flat” versus U shaped, which could take some getting used to, and I may go rogue and trim down the nubbins that stop the arms from swiveling in all the way. However, this thing is BUILT SOLID. Everything is good, all of the hardware is excellent, they even supply grade 8.8 bolts. The monitors stay put, no shakiness whatsoever. Pro tips: if you’re an American used to freedom units, get a yardstick or tape measure that has metric indications. That would’ve made grommet mounting a little easier. I ended up measuring like eight times to ensure I only had to drill once. The spacing is 570mm which doesn’t translate easily into inches. A little WD-40 in the tracks makes getting your displays exactly where you want them easier, but ultimately you’re not going to be sliding them back and forth all the time so it being slightly tricky to do so honestly makes sense. I’ve had several different mounts in a variety of configurations from different brands. This is the only one I’ve found that has two vertical parts to hold everything up, and that makes all the difference. Every other one I’ve had has been shaky or unstable or sags over time. I’d be surprised if I ever have to buy another one. ... show more

  • Sturdy
Color: 6 Monitor Mount
Assembled yesterday. For me at least. Assembly was super easy. So far it seems stout enough. Currently I am running 3 x 32" 2k displays on the bottom. The middle is an LG ultragear the sides are AOC AOGs. The AOC displays are very heavy and I have them all the way out so you can't apply much more stress to these arms. They are not twisting or flexing "yet". Only minor issue is there is no single screen height adjustment. So if you don't have matching models you may run into alignment issues like mine has. Not sure if you can see it. Not a huge deal but may drive some people crazy. Just get matching screens and there is no issue. Also the range of motion on the side arms is minimal. Not a problem though. Take a small saw, or in my case I used my reciprocating saw with a steel blade and cut the small bump tabs off. Now I have full swing motion on the arms. But beware. Those bump stops are there to avoid extreme pressure that this setup wasn't designed for. You could run into a failure with the right conditions. But so far mine is holding up good. Overall I like it. Is clean. Strong and easy to assemble. Wish they offered a powder coated black versdion. I will end up painting mine black at some point. Good product ... show more

  • Solid
Color: 6 Monitor Mount
This product it perfect for those looking for a solid multi monitor mount. I wanted more than one base/desk attachment point for holding up my 3 monitors. This works perfectly. I have a 32 inch LG QHD in the middle with 27 inch LG QHDs on either side. It is sturdy! I did buzz off the little nubs on either arms as suggested by other users but even if you do not do that they still move with a wide range. I could have left off the second cross piece designed for use with monitors 4-6 but added it for some "extra" support with 4 points of contact instead of 2. I actually attached a bulletin board there for notes. Installation was easy and took about 45 minutes as I went slow and steady. I do recommend using a tape measure that has metric as the hole placement is in millimeters unless you want to use the C-clamp method. I also added a piece of scrap 2x4 under the desk at each post to increase the surface area foot print. Overall an excellent item that is well built, sturdy and easy to install. Strongly recommend this product! ... show more

  • What you need to know
Color: 6 Monitor Mount
I am on my 3rd multi-monitor mount. This mount is number 3 What I like: If you are looking to get your monitors to 'line up' and get the seamless edges crispy flush, this is the best option I have found yet. The materials are ok. I had 1 threaded arm that would not take a bolt, fortunately, its non-load bearing and 2 other screws are sufficiently in place. Quick release vesa mounts. Easy assembly Very sturdy Holds monitors at the edges and does not move like gas spring monitors mounts What I don't like: See my pics. The mount that connects the monitor to the stand is WAY to big. This translates to your monitors coming closer to you. Another words, you are going to loose 10 inches of desk space. I have a relatively deep desk of 30" and this mount chews up 1/3 of my desk real estate most in part to the mount. (see my other pics with measurements). As a result, you will be moving your head more because the monitors are closer to you. I moved from a Chief quad arm with gas springs setup (pretty expensive too). They never would line up my monitors and would move around, even with the tension set high. The profile of the mount was only 4 inches, this mount is a whopping 10 inches !!! ouch! Get a hack saw or dremel. Why? Look at the pic of me pointing to a hinge. There was a nub of metal stopping the arm from swinging more than 15 or 20 degrees or whatever. I sawed that off. Pretty easy but super odd. Probably has something to do with weight distribution on the arms or something. Tilt up and down: This can be adjusted. Its friction based. No notches indexed into the metal. So you will really need to get some better allen wrenches and put some elbow grease to tighten them down. THe monitors will not move. I wish this had better mounting options for vertical monitors (see my pic) I really wanted 2 vertical monitors side by side. . Its just not possible to mount two vertical monitors without loosing the ability to mount 1 monitor above the lower vertical monitor. If you write code like I do, this in important. If you know, you know. Would I buy this again? - maybe, just make sure you have a desk thats a MINIMUM of 30" deep IE from your chair to the back of your desk. If its not that, you are probably going to be eating your monitors. for 200 or whatever its not bad compared what you will pay for other higher quality low profile monitor arms. Hope this helps you. ... show more
