My son and I love to smoke and eat dead animals! We have a really nice 13 rack front loader smoker that ran on propane. We ripped out the old gas burner and replaced it with the electric element and wow it is so much cheaper to run than propane. We are eating dead animals much more often now!

This item will not replace the factory heating element for the electric master built smoker as listed. It also will not get past 150 degrees.

Original dial burner controller burnt up inside and failed after just one year. This replacement assembly was very easy to install. used 2 self tapping screws to secure from inside the smoker. Total installation time was 5 minutes. Able to achieve 350 degrees with the new burner and smokes the wood chips properly even at 200 degrees ... show more

Did not fit the outlet for the Charbroil electric smoker. Very disappointed. Sending it back.

    • Almost too effective
It worked very well! It was a little on the large side for our Smoke Hollow smoker, but some retrofitting and it worked great. In fact it heated up in half the time and we actually had to take measures to stop it from getting too warm. It’s been a couple months now and we haven’t had any issues.
