Been using this for almost two months and it has been flawless. I have limited space at home to work out and the 6 ft bar is just right for me being 6 ft tall. I can get a very wide grip for bench pressing if I want to. Weight for the bar is 33.4 lbs. if anyone is wondering. Only complaints is the bar wasn’t packaged the best and the packaging tube did come ripped. I could tell someone tried to tape it up, but I was expecting this as it was mentioned in other reviews and also happened to my curl bar. Definitely a solid piece of steel and very sturdy. The packaging for this thing for some reason came in a cardboard tube that was busted through on both ends with the entire 2" weight plate section of bar hanging out on both sides. plastic was kind of wrapped but completely useless. Don't know if it was supposed to come with weight clamps, but mine only came with one, assuming of course the other one went missing due to the shape the packaging was in. ... show more

Buyers beware- if you want to lift heavy, don't be an idiot- buy a 2" bar. 1" bars just can't handle heavy weights. But anyways, I got the 2", 6', 30 pound bar. It's holding up pretty much fine when I load it up with 300lb. The only thing I've seen wrong with it is that there's slight indentation on one of the sides where my heaviest plates sit. Not sure if this is from the plates, but I didn't notice until I'd lifted with this for a while. Regardless, this is a good deal for its price and I'd recommend. ... show more

This 2" free-weight Olympic bar is definitely worth the amazingly low price. After two previous attempts to order a bar like this for our Home Owners' Association Clubhouse (each attempt was met with an "unavailable" message weeks after the order was placed), I placed this order. Within 3 days the bar was delivered to my door, and I couldn't be happier. In fact this bar, for less money, is better than the two previous bars I tried to order. I’m disappointed about this product bc it was supposed to be a set, weights included, my wife and i carefully selected it based on that, after the order was placed i noticed that the weights were not included. I got the 6 foot 2-inch bar and on the scale, it weights around 26.8 lbs it is solid with knurled grips and ribbed plate holders so they don't slide off easily. it also came with two spring claps and that was a surprise as I did not see that in the description. overall a good bar. only 4 stars because of the price. honestly, Academy had a very similar bar for less. ... show more
