Thanks to another reviewer, I knew how to fix the treadmill after it didn't power on. First, it was packaged very well; everything looked great and set up was instant. When I tried to turn it on, however, it was dead. I tried another outlet in the room: nothing. I remember someone else saying that the treadmill didn't work out of the box, so he took off the back panel and saw that one of the wires was disconnected. The same thing happened with mine. Once I took off the panel and reconnected the wire, I tried to turn it on again and it worked. I reattached the panel and flipped it back over. It works perfectly now. I'm 5'9" and thought the length of the deck would be too small, but it isn't. I'm taking a smaller stride, but it doesn't feel unnatural. The speed said 7.0, but it can't be more than 3.5 or 4. I don't know why that is so off. It is super quiet and takes up very little space. ... show more

Purchase this so I could get my walking in after work when it's still dark. Was able to take out of the box and already put together! So easy. It's heavy so I used another reviewer tip that suggested using the box for sliding under bed. Thank goodness I did this! I don't have space to keep it out and this made it so easy to slide under bed. I use it a few times a week usually at 3.8 speed. It's quietish. I can watch TV while using but needed to turn it up a little. All in all perfect for walking at home. I would recommend! ... show more

Whatever other type of exercise you do, it is essential to include walking and sprinting in your routine (get wise and forget jogging which actually promotes visceral fat and is detrimental to upping muscle mass). This treadmill/walking pad allows any time and any weather access to one of the best types of movement for bettering body composition. If nothing else, we are made to walk (and sprint!). This Sperax walking pad is terrifically compact and durable. I have used it for a year now and had no problems. I have cranked it to a speed that is just over 4 miles per hour, so one can get some cardiac challenge from this. Speed is easy to adjust, safety feature is included, and bar provides stability if you want that (screws at base are quick and easy to tighten with hands). I just slide the pad under my bed when not using it. So for any time that walking outside is not ideal, this is your answer! ... show more
