I originally bought this space heater as a spare, but found I used it more than the bigger heater I had. This little space heater works really well. I was able to keep my large room warm during our winter and then let my daughter use it in a smaller room and it heated that room to a nice toasty warmth. I love this little heater. It heats up very quickly, if it accidently got tipped just a little it automatically shut off and gave a beep as an alarm.     • Heats rooms better than our central heat!
We bought one of these for a loved one for a Christmas gift. Before we gave it to them, our bedroom was cold and the central heating wasn't knocking out the chill so we decided to open it and use it. This is an awesome little heater! At first I was worried because it was so small, but trust me, size has nothing to do with the warmth this thing puts out! It heats a large bedroom in the matter of a couple of hours- so much so, you have to either decrease the temperature or turn it off. Also love that it has a remote control and a timer! So convenient! This little heater works so good, we bought two more, AND replaced the one for the Christmas gift! Definitely recommend this heater! It's a game changer in the winter months!     • Convenient heater
I like it because it wasn’t loud it’s the perfect theater so warm up a room that’s at least like 18‘ x 16‘ft I don’t know why I decided that measurement but it’s pretty good to warm up up your entire room on the other hand as far as the cooler it’s not really like an AC. It’s more like a little fan deck and like just cool the room down to a fan felt vibe ... show more

    • Better than expected
It took me a little bit to get used to the controls. I am thankful for the remote. I had to cut a square of plywood place it on top of a tote and put the heater on that in order for the heat to get to where I need it in my bedroom. When I have the oscillating feature on it’s loud. Whatever mechanism stops it and starts it back in the other direction is loud enough it has woken me up and I’ve had to turn that feature off while trying to sleep. It heats the small to medium bedroom well which is saying a lot considering it’s a drafty old trailer. I very much like that when you turn off The heater it goes into a 30 second countdown in fan mode to cool the unit before turning off. I’ve had several more expensive heaters of a very popular brand and all of those eventually has slightly melted plastic in the front after being used for A couple of winters. It occurs to me if they had this cool down function that would not occur. Beyond the noise when the unit oscillates i’m very satisfied and happy with this heater. ... show more

    • Works well and quietly
This provides heat output quickly and is way quieter than the old heater I had. I don't need to use the oscillation feature in my small office area. No problems at all with it. Now, if we could get California to change its power generation goals so electricity is not 41 cents/KW-Hr and going higher . . . ... show more

    • A good general purpose heater, but slightly noisy fan
This heater works very well. I use it in my bedroom, where I can set it to 53 degrees F in Eco mode (many heaters can't set temperatures this low). The temp controls have an up and down button, which is very handy - other units I own have a single button (up) and you need to cycle around all the temperature settings to go down - very tedious. I would prefer just to have the temperature settings work with High and Low, instead of an eco mode, as it is unusual to have modes that are not thermostatically controlled. Also the fans produces the expected air hiss, but also a "beat" effect between them. It's not very loud and I got used to it. One snag is that every time you turn off the power using the remote and then turn it on again, it forgets all the mode and temperature settings. In the "off" state it obviously runs the remote control electronics to turn on, so why not remember the last settings? ... show more

    • Some good, some bad
I've been using this heater daily for almost two months and would probably look for a different unit if I had to replace it. PROS: 1. Does produce heat but not a huge amount. 2. Does have digital temperature setting which I use constantly and like. 3. Modes of operation such as oscillation I like but haven't been using. 3. The remote can be helpful. CONS: 1. Heat does not project, I actually place a small fan next to mine to push the heat wherever I want it. That works surprisingly well but obviously is not ideal. 2. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that the controls on the heater itself are IDIOTIC and make stupid what is otherwise an OK machine. One problem with them is that the six buttons are a super-sensitive type that are activated by the faintest contact, like it or not. Another problem is that the buttons are flat, smooth and flush making it impossible to 'feel' them with fingertips. As a result it is necessary to place your body where you can clearly see the buttons as you 'touch' them carefully. Otherwise the slightest contact with the wrong button will make it necessary to reset everything. It's too bad. Some manufacturer, probably in China, has done a pretty decent job of designing and making a small and cheap space heater but unfortunately made some unnecessary choices on their control panel buttons that can make using the machine a real pain in the %#! on a day to day basis. Control buttons that can actually be 'felt' and must actually be 'pressed' and not just 'touched' would be so easy to provide and would help so much. Some design engineer at the manufacturer is probably saying I should just use the remote. My answer is that I keep that remote in another spot and don't want to either keep moving that remote or need that remote when the heater is sitting within arms reach. ... show more
