Description

Southern Homewares bellows style powder duster is the perfect tool to apply insecticide dust. This duster enables you to precisely apply dusts or bait granules into cracks, crevices, wall voids, and other hard-to-reach areas. Simply fill the powder duster half full of the appropriate dust or bait and replace the rubber stopper. This is a bellows style duster so simply squeeze the spring enforced rubber housing and the powder will be expelled from the end of the nozzle. Works great for Diatomaceous Earth, Silica dust, boric acid, and many more! Rugged metal and rubber construction means this powder duster is around for the long haul and is sure to provide years of repeat use. The applicator tube measures 6. 50" from the body to the end of the fine tip nozzle. Nozzle has cap for when not in use. Bellows fill opening measures 1. 39” in diameter. Includes 5. 50” integrated cleaning rod. To use simply unscrew from the rear of the housing and inset into the nozzle. This will clear any blockages. Maximum volume is 8. 50 US fluid ounces. Overall dimensions are 10. 00” x 2. 98” x 4. 45”.

I find that it’s best to turn the bellow upside down, in order to best atomize the roach powder. Roaches avoid piles of anything, so it’s best to do a light [regular] dusting that will stick to their legs; causing them to preen themselves; thus ingesting the boric acid mixture.

Works great for my garden dust. I use it spout up with a twist of the wrist between squirts. A forceful squirt gives a fine dusting. Less forceful may be more "clumpy" Sure eliminates wasted powder.

This puffer has serious abilities. The spring inside the reservoir is stronger than an alternative plastic accordion puffer. I expect it to last many years.

Product works for my purpose but is a little more difficult to operate than I expected. Maybe I just need to use it for a while to get where I can evenly apply dust to my plants. Right now it is famine to feast! I think it is a good product for the value! Would buy it again!

It's a lot better than that crappy Harris duster that just poofs out large clumps of dust. This doesn't have that problem at all. I used this to dust the electrical outlets and the baseboards with boric acid powder. It applied fantastically. I intend to keep on using this as needed to solve pest problems. ... show more
