These shears are great. They are sharp, sturdy and the little catch that keeps the blade closed is well designed. One word of caution, it that the outside edges of the blade are Alsop sharp, hence the inclusion of a nice scabbard for the snips. This is a useful tool, one well worth purchasing.

These are great and work really well. The safest way to carry them is in the sheath because the blades are sharp on all sides. They open bags of mulch and trim shrubs and branches easily. I wear a belt and carry them in the sheath so they are both handy and safe to carry.

I like to carry a small pruner with me when I am in the garden. It must fit in my pocket, I prefer scissor-shaped blades and I need a sheath to prevent inadvertently stabbing myself with the sharp blade. My last pocket pruner was serviceable, but the blade sheath was small, and I kept losing it. Finally I lost it for good. I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect replacement, and this is it. The pruner and sheath fit in my pocket and the sheath is large enough that I will never lose it. It has several nice features, including a serrated blade for miscellaneous cutting. The only thing that could make this tool any better, you ask!?! If the pointy tip could be flattened some, so you could use as a screwdriver as well! Fiskars is a great and reliable brand. This is my go to tool from my she shed. I have many Fiskars tools. It is SUPER SHARP!!! ~ so be careful! Quality is top notch. I can use it with one hand as it is lightweight, opens easily, and comfortable in my hands. It does not make my hand or wrist sore at all and I have carpal tunnel in both wrists. the blades are razor sharp on all 4 sides - not the usual two) and I could not get used to this as I cut in tight spaces for snipping and have repeatedly cut my hands. I love the brand but these are for a very specific use and that is not obvious in the marketing

These pruners work great for my garden pruning. Great for light to medium. But, for me, I find the knife edges kind of dumb, and dangerous. If you have a use for it, great. I knew what I was buying, and just used a file to dull the blades.

This is a,very good tool. It is extremely sharp. Users need to be aware both sides of the tool have different sharp blades beside the snipper. I like it for removing squash and tomatoes and other veggies from the plants during harvest time.

Very versatile these have 2 knife edges and cutters. There is a possible pinch point on the handles as the lock is right in the middle and does stick out a bit. There fiskars quality, easy to use and cutting performance is great. They are sharp all sides so be sure to watch what you are doing and when putting down and picking up.
