I now have 3 of these units and really like them. Very nice way to store pellets. As I get more, different pellet flavors, it's great to have a container for each one. They also come with labels, which of course is necessary, so you know which pellet it which. They close up and seal good for me. I can also get an entire bag in the bin. Can't say they lock down super tight or have a super seal, but so far, they have kept our pellets in good shape. Only slight criticism is they are kind of pricey for plastic storage bins. A couple of things, these obviously keep your pellets dry and free of rodents or other debris. They stack well on top of each other. They are just large enough to fit a standard bag and don't take up too much space. I use a cup to spoon the pellets out. Had a good experience ordering off Amazon. The local big box store was low on stock and the product they had was scratched and beaten up. Amazon provided the exact same thing - packed very well directly from Traeger and at the same price as the big box store. They arrive very well packaged, for shipping protection! They hold an entire 20 lb bag of food grade wood smoking pellets. The lids seal decently against the rubber gasket built-in to the containers, once the snap-levers are snapped shut, although the sides of the bins are still flexible - after the lid is snapped shut. They are stackable. And they are very pricey. We were able to get (6) bins @ $24/ea, so we'll probably buy a few more of them as needed, but we're not looking to forward to paying $30/ea on amazon, i.e. the price as of 24 Aug 2024. ... show more

In the past I have used big box hardware store buckets to store my pellets but those are cumbersome and not easily stored. The Traeger Pellet Bin is more compact and seals very well. It is also easier to add pellets to the hopper than the plastic buckets. The included labels are a nice touch that allows me to know what wood I have in each bin. This bin is handy, albeit expensive, for conveniently storing pellets. I now have two of them for two pellet flavors. The lids have rubber gaskets so I feel confident that the pellets will stay dry stored outside under my covered grill. I’m planning to buy a third!
