This product has a love/hate with many people because of the ingredients. Quite simply, they work! The plant absorbs the chemical through the roots, and if pests eat the leaves/stems/roots...they die. The ingredients must NOT be used in outdoor flowering plants because they can kill beneficial insects. And, of course if you have pets (or toddlers) that eat your plant leaves, this would not be a good product for you. But if those are not concerns then this product works as advertised. I sent the first one back as the shipping seal under the lid seemed to be open already and the bottle was only 1/3 full. I received another one and it's exactly the same. It says it's filled by weight, not volume which is fine, but I'm not used to receiving containers that are 2/3 empty. I used to buy this product from nurseries for years, but Amazon’s price is lower. Everyone complains about the container being partially empty, but it’s always been that way, so I don’t have a problem with that. It makes up for that because it is SOOOOOO effective. Every now and then we have an issue with fungus gnats, and if you follow the simple instructions, they’ll be completely gone in 1-2 days. I had little gnats in my plants,and they were multiplying! I tried the gnat paper, they caught a lot of them, yet there just seemed to be more of them everyday. Within a few days of using this product, they were almost gone. It has been about 4 weeks, and a few are appearing again. I had expected this.
