I have quite a few house plants that “summer outside” on the back deck. Every fall when it turned cooler and I brought them inside, the war with fungus gnats was on. One year, spider mites took over and killed two of my plants. I tried this product and problem solved. I use this about four weeks or so before I think I will need to bring them back inside for the cold months. I’ve used it two years now and both years - no more fungus gnats or any other nasty plant-destroying bug/critter - I’m lookin’ at you spider mites. Generally it’s only one application - I do not use this all year. I have a few, more delicate/difficult plants that I wondered if this would harm the plant - but the plants were all fine with this product. I have 80+ houseplants & work in a plant store so I’m always proactively treating my plants for pests. I was able to completely decimate a really bad thrips infestation on a coworker’s huge Monstera using this and a few rounds of neem + insecticide spray. 6+ months later and the thrips still haven’t returned. I recommend systemic to everyone dealing with pests! As long as you use it responsibly it is an excellent tool to have. Just don’t use it on any outdoor plants because it will harm pollinators, and don’t use it to treat spider mites because it will actually make them worse; it’s for “larger” pests (scale, mealy bugs, thrips, aphids, etc).     • My bottle wasn't 1/3 full it was over half.

Idk why these people use half the product then complain it wasn't full. Unless they "Fluffed" mine up it was definitely over half full b fore my first applications. That said the effects have yet to be seen really. I believe it has started killing aphids, but the granules do not dissolve and that kinda make me wonder what exactly I'm buying. It's been sitting in water for months and the granules are still visible in the soil so idk how to best use this product. That said the aphids have started dying after drinking my plants. But it's kind of too late at that point. Guess I'll use it from the start and test it some more. ... show more

This product is so amazing! I probably wouldn't keep houseplants without this! I have over 45 plants in my home. This prevents fungus gnats which is a game changer! One container lasts for quite a while too! It is completely odorless. Such a great deal!

I agree with other reviews, canister is only half full, so you Feel cheated right off even though it is measured by weight. Secondly, if I had not bought 2, I would not have had enough for my small collection of indoor plants. I still have the pesky fungus gnats, will have to wait and see if this gets rid of them. I am also using the yellow stick-in-the-pot gnat catchers, where gnats stick to them. ... show more

Tried all the usual stuff. Mosquito bits tea, peroxide, sticky traps, cinnamon. All worked, a little. But this was the game changer for me and my plants. Used first time about 8 weeks ago and have not seen another gnat. Being proactive and doing another dose soon. Happy customer!
