I really like the awning once it was up. Its easy to roll out and back in. The most discouraging and difficulty was putting it together. We used the video which is supplied on Amazon, and that really helped us with the assembly, but also the written instruction which is poorly written. We also searched for instructions on line which gave us guidance for installing it to our house wall. Another item, is that the weight information would be helpful, for getting needed help to install. The measurement diagram for installing on the house wall, the instructions appear to be wrong and/or don't make any sense. ... show more

    • Nice awning but not the best metal used.

Do not leave rolled out in the rain! I did the very first night and metal bent and is unusable. So one nights use out of it and boom…no good anymore. They were not calling for rain or I would have rolled in.

    • Hard to figure out instructions but does it’s job once up

Well let’s start off with....the “beige,” isn’t really beige. It’s more of a rotten banana yellow. I can live with it but never would of picked that color 2nd, multiple issues with the instructions and the parts. Pre-drilled holes didn’t line up, I had to drill new ones. Not enough screws, had to buy more...to name a few. If you watch the video on how to put it together.... Just know, everything they do is backwards and it will make a difference. The instructions, in the box, are very hard to read. Bottom line, if you have trouble with IKEA furniture... Don’t buy this product or find someone mechanically inclined to figure it out. After all that though... Product is “as advertised”, it’s up and doing its job ... show more

It came on time. Looks like it’s sturdy enough. The instructions for the installation was very bad. Thanks god there was a video about it. I wish they also show how to install on the wall we ended up using different kind of bolts and screws. When we try to open the awning we realized that there were more fabric on the roll but it was not moving forward. Then we measured the the awning and it was only 96” from the wall. It was not 10 feet as advertised. I contact the seller but they didn’t except my claim. We ended up keeping it because there was nothing else to do. ... show more

Not too bad. The instructions are poorly made. No words, just bad illustrations. Once you can decipher what is what, it’s pretty easy to install. Oh… invest in a 14mm drill bit!
